no not really, i got a skin for my firefox browser and its looks really funky.

welcome hex, hope that you can get that translation as im working night (tonight) and then a day (tommorrow) so finding a translator will be hard for me.

its annoying, we need more than a non-sencicle japanese letter, translating hasnt got us any further, we need william to post something to prod us the right way...... basically like we have a map jigsaw but cant fit the peices together!!!

Hi guys, any luck so far? I just realized there might be some info here since on the "official" forum (which I guess we should use for in-game discussions only) there's not much going on when it comes to solving ARG puzzles.

Hey, Um.... I know you all said it was Japanese but..... I'm not sure it is. I;m pretty sure it's Chinese, cause I'm learning Chinese and, while I know the languages are close, I clearly recognize some of the symbols. I'll see what I can do about remembering what little I've learned (and I'll run the letter by a friend who's almost fluent in both written and verbal Japanese, just to confirm. He'll like the challenge.) and I'll get back to you all tomorrow.

(On a wacky side note, from reading all of your posts, and having gotten mail from them during the last game, I can theorize that, not only did they send an email to me, but they may have sent a letter as well..... God, I hope the people in my last apartment aren't too freaked out right now LOL)

Hi Wolfgirl

The letters are Japanese but don't make Japanese words. There are 2 different Japanese languages in the letter and if you convert the symbols to the vocal sounds they represent there are 26 distinct sounds.

Were currently trying to get these sounds converted into the 26 letters of the English language but with no key for translation the substitution of sounds to letters is slow going.

Yeh I was wondering that. I'm subscribed to their YouTube page but haven't had any new videos come through.

Also, I didn't want to bring it up in the IG forum, but I think the website you came across for that phone number is probably the people that GEN247 are renting office space from so the number is probably still IG.

Being UK based I'm not prepared to make an international call to check but a US resident could.

I'm gonna give this one a shot even though I didn't mess with the first one.

My complaint so far is that it seems a bit insidery. I mean, I watched the trailer and what not, but there doesn't seem to be a decent wiki with a full-game rundown or anything like that. Maybe I'm missing something?

Also, I can't get in to Opus Populi for some reason. I registered, got a confirmation email, and now every time I try to login, it says that the site leader is reviewing my application and that I'll get a confirmation e-mail. What's up with that?

Hey spaceboy

We all had to go through the approval process. It shouldn't be too long.
All the episodes from last season are still on the DELETED:The Game YouTube channel so if you wanted to you could watch everything from last year.

The wiki from last year is at http://deleted.wikidot.com but it was never completed.

This years game doesn't rely on you knowing the backstory to get anywhere. So far there are only 3 characters from last year, Ethan and Zach (missing) and Nicole (no direct contact yet)

The rest of the characters are new.

I hate double-posting, but this seems important. I checked out that Mobius Finance site, and the phone number, through some searching, leads to Studio Even New York (www.evenyc.com. Looking through the pictures of the location, it looks like the place that the SecureIDGuard launch party was held in episode one of the original series.

I did some whois lookups, and I'm not sure if it's in game, but the location certainly looks VERY similar.

I posted this discovery on OP, as well, but I kept it more in-game.
