May I kindly suggest that we collectively refrain from idle banter and, as the drill sergeants of some of the more charming American war films are fond of saying, hop to it as regards to the actual content of their transmission. We must discover what does The Junsui mean with those words: "FALSE CAGE", "DEFENDING FALSE CAGE", "ENTERING THE FALSE CAGE".

The MoT has intercepted some messages of The Junsui and they are giving special importance to that. It's MoT's turn.

This appears to be our next thing to work on but I'm not really sure what it might mean. Maybe one of the captains cane us some info.

I was thinking about what kosmopol said and had an interesting thought. So far, even though they haven't been very nice, we have given the Junsui the benefit of the doubt when it comes to wanting to save whoever is in that cage. But what if Dubrovin was telling the truth and the Junsui have been hijacked bay someone else, and they actually want "Rhea" or whoever for their own purposes? I think there is more to the Junsui than a well meaning but paranoid and awkward spokesperson.

So uh.. I've just been watching the stream, and now I'm really confused. She was talking, and laughing. But it didn't seem to be talking towards someone at the door, rather she seemed to be addressing the empty space in front of her (she was against a side wall, looking towards the other side.)

Then after she was led out, clenching her fists and looking worried, and it made me wonder why she was thrown into the room naked in particular a few times.

Nighthawk,

I just shot Mr. Dubrovin an email... When you spoke with him did you use the email found on the MoT site?

*wonders if I will actually get a reply*

You will probably get an autoresponse, witha link to the MoT facebook group. He will however respond to a private message on Facebook.

Yes, that's the email. You can also contact him through Facebook if you want.

On an amusing semi-META note:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Junko Junsui signed up for my next game on the 19th of August...

Of course, I can't be sure it's her - all I have is the email address.

I've tried looking at his FB page; however, when I do I'm just redirected to my FB homepage...

Am I blocked from seeing his page or what? I made a new FB solely for JJ because I really don't want to intermingle RL and JJ all too much.

Although I did give the bait that I do work within the US military intelligence field so I do have several assets which could prove useful in data mining and the like for Alfa Tsentr, let alone this ARG. But then again....

This is not a game.

Dunno; I have the same issue with Junko's profile, but then again I am the enemy.

Yeah, contact him through normal email. Or, if you want, you can relay things through me and I'll post them.

Screw it.

If you could, tell him I said this:

Mr. Dubrovin,

I was curious, could you tell me more about your group? I've grown extremely skeptical of the Junsuei. I cannot see any sense in aiding someone who constantly criticizes anyone whose interest is piqued when she broadcasts their message of "needing assistance" yet anyone who tries to inquire what the situation is, is deemed an enemy...

I bring to the table many assets which may be of use. I specialize in intelligence gathering. Although our nations have been in stalemate over the past decades, we have a common goal which I believe we can agree needs to be addressed. Let alone silenced.

My services are offered; do you accept?

On another note, do you enjoy cigars? I had one of my mainstays earlier, the 5 Vegas A' series. I enjoy it most in it's 58X5.5" ligra the most. The large gauge really brings out the more subtle notes.

Respectfully,

Ad Arcana Tutanda

If Dubrovin turns down your offer, I'll pick up the slack. Razz

SUCCESS!

His response is as follows:

Thank you for contacting us Mr. XXXX(removed my last name, I sent it from my work email to prove I in fact do work with US intelligence). I am not privy to any direct intelligence gatherimg by either the Russian government or Alfa-Tsentr. However, i am aware of many details of the current criminal investigation wherein my organization is soliciting help from the public. If you wish to interface through government intel channels, I advise contacting Interpol or the Russian consulate of your respective country.

All formalities aside, my clients are gravely concerned regarding some of the recent updates they have been receiving on this group. They have been tracking the terrorists for some time and feel fortunate now to find themselves at the verge of a major breakthrough.

What type of information, specifically, could you furnish about the "Junsui"? Are you aware of any identities among their leadership? Perhaps some information regarding their organizational structure? One of the most pressing issues we have right now is trying make sense of their communication methods—a series of systems which seems to adapt frequently and reactively to our surveillance.

Feel free to contact me in the future should you wish to share any specific details regarding this affair. And since you made inquiry, my favored cigar is a Siglo IV Cohiba. Since my diplomatic days spent in Cuba, I have never been able to manage without them.

Regards,
A. Dubrovin

The following was my reply to his email.

Mr. Dubrovin,

I am privy to a bit of the leadership structure, identities, methods of communication, following, misinformation campaigns and so forth. I will compile what knowledge my cohorts and myself have, and see if we can't get a targeting package and link analysis of their leadership built for you and your clients within the next 24-48 hours.

I was curious though if you do not mind my inquiry; are you able to furnish contact information to anyone at Alfa-Tsentr whom I may discuss combined operations intelligence/counterintelligence regarding the "Junkno Junsui" group? I'm sure we can both agree that the best way to combat this threat is to fight fire with fire. I tried to contact any persons in the leadership structure and or S-2/S-3 shops within Alfa-Tsentr; however, everything is passworded and requires logins and I have been unsuccessful in any attempt at corresponding. Acquiring this information would greatly assist our combined efforts.

Have you corresponded with any individuals with Interpol in regards to the smear campaigns and accusations against Alfa-Tsentr? If you have, I might be able to talk with them through our channels here and see if we cannot find a mutual agreement to end the nonsense which the Junsui seem to be at the root of.

I have not had the luxury of trying Cohiba's Siglo IV, lucky of you to have that opportunity as these trade embargoes we placed some 50+ years ago are still in place... A favorite of mine for the past several years has been the Montecristo Belicoso. I tend to favor maduro and Cameroon wrappers.

Respectfully,

Ad Arcana Tudana

IMO You're the most interesting thing to happen to this JJ thing in a week... Keep your head down over there... and when you get home if you're ever in the North West drinks and Montecristos are on me!

Well... ok on my budget at least beers and Swisher Sweets!! LOL!!!
