ALL IN COMMUNION WITH THE BROTHERHOOD: LONG LIVE THE GREAT MOTHER!

She's started to mention the Brotherhood today. I assume that refers to those in league with the Khozain, anyone know if I'm wrong?

I think we should send him some of the threats or enigmatic things that The Junsui have said, even though he probably already knows about them. For the sake of completeness at least. The one thing I don't think should be sent to him was the thing about Rhea's location. He is associated with Alfa-Tsentr, after all, at least by extension. I think letting him know that we've been looking into where his allies are supposedly (he's denied this) holding her would be tipping our hand. I think that would be a bad move. What's left, though? We need more than a list of links.

Also if anyone's hating the game right now, I would have to recommend chatting with some of The Junsui's followers, or themselves even if they'll respond (IG as it were). It's not terribly informative, but it's pretty fun. Fun seems to be something this game is in need of.

Just some insight from the intelligence community... It would be bad on Dubrovin's part if we really thought we weren't looking into Alfa-Tsentr as well... Let alone their location.... Even here working joint operations, it's common knowledge that we collect on the British, the Australians, and everyone else... Let alone that they collect on us. It's just how politics and international intelligence communities work. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Don't play MoT or Alfa Tsentr for stupid. intelligence drives the mission.

I'm not sure it was really a question of intelligence, but more of how information is treated within the context of the game and, for that matter, where the line between IG and OOG information is. Nevertheless the general consensus seems to be against me, so I think I'll shut up now until/unless I have something uncharacteristically competent to say. I assume no one will mind.

lol I was referring to intelligence as in information, not IQ intelligence :]

No worries man all opinions on this chestnut are much appreciated. the best way to solve tough problems is to get the opinions of those who think exactly opposite of you.

Huh. I just checked out the stream of Rhea and she's in the FOURTH unique writing-in-a-book pose. Book on her left leg, then switching to right; book on right leg only; book on left leg only; writing with the book in her lap.

She also flips past several full pages of writing to get to a blank page. I wonder what she's writing.

Nighthawk, to quote Dylan at Royal Albert Hall: "I don't buh-leeeeve you."

We're dealing with simultaneous disinformation campaigns here. We know the Junsui are trying to send a message (do we know to who?) and that they have asked others to create other messages to throw off those who are watching/monitoring them.

We also know that there are individuals recruited by Dubrovpnin to try and track these messages before the Junsui can find them.

I, for one, do think that there is something to these audio tracks and this "false cage" thing that's worth exploring, as these messages seem to be coming (in one way or another) from both sides.

Nighthawk, if you're posting as the IG incarnation of yourself here to throw people off track, I guess (under the circumstances) that's fine, but I highly doubt that you have any mega top-secret intel of any value. I, for one, will be following the clues and trying to let this game play out as a game, which I think, at last, it is trying to do...

all this info gathering as a hive is similar to when the anons (not the moralfags) started data mining the CoS, like a "loosely colective of x people".

also, faux news referred anon as a "group of hackers"

the mechanics of how both sides are relating to the players are very similar as "probing" for this kind of collective reaction

if the "hive mind" set alliance with the junko sisters side, all anon will be terrorists. the alliance doesn´t need to happen. only the mind illed junko has to publish that it is

if some players go co-op with a-t, they will relate to them as the same data mining hive

junko is a terrorist catholic jihad group
a-t is anti-x facist mercenary group

junko poses as a movielike version of anonymous (internet savvy faux style)
a-t uses cliche as front

maybe...maybe it is an ellaborated trap to lure some fellows into a worm spreading move

.............
about those numbers:
///43484413/ --> invisible
// --> invisible
/ --> invisible
////621 --> invisible
//00 --> invisible
)))) --> invisible
all were "invisible" for the message

Actually, that's not. At the start, when Junko was speaking for the Junsui, she would often use "Smile))))))" as smiles in what she wrote. For some reason, Junsui.. keeps using the )))))) without the colon for eyes, and in sometimes odd contexts. I don't really understand, but it seems to be just a little quirk of hers.

I meant the "don't play them for stupid" bit, but anyways I'll still defer to your opinion in this case.

Regardless of whether he's IG here (which I doubt, if only for the sake of sanity), I actually agree with him about the sound files. This is for a couple reasons:
1. Someone I know to be a "captain of Junsui" has been talking (in character) about them, which I would incline to believe serves as supporting evidence.
2. Dubrovin's Men of Taste Facebook group, of which I am now also a member, is concentrating their efforts almost entirely on the sound files, which means that if there IS something there, they're likely to find it first anyway and so those who aren't of that group would do best to focus their efforts elsewhere.

You also brought up another thing that I actually hadn't thought about. The campaign of disinformation led by the Junsui captains is to throw Khozains off the trail of their message right? And the Men of Taste (players included) are after that message. I never really stopped to consider WHO they're sending a message to. Does anyone have any ideas?

So much for shutting up, I suppose. Ah well, what can I say? I'm an addict.

No, Junko was very sweet and pleasant while she was the voice of Junsui. She was just a happy person.

Another took over the voice of the Junsui from her though, and started screaming at everyone. Diyne Seteney or however it's spelled.

Junko hasn't been heard of since, but it seems she had been spirited away to somewhere 'safe' while Diyne took care of the fight.

Thank you all for your efforts. Have we, as a team, listened to and verified the provenance of all these audio materials? This, I should think, would not be difficult to accomplish.

This...

I will be away for a week now. I hope there is some progress made.
Its a shame as I work with audio on a daily basis as a musician and amature audio engineer.

If you knew me, you'd know I would never do that.

Seems what I was originally told wasn't exactly accurate; they weren't disinforming about the music, but rather the PLAYER itself.

Here is the message that has been relayed to me:

Quote:
PRETEND TO BETRAY US. SPREAD FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

"The Junsui are perverted and dangerous. They want to harm everyone. They've hidden their instructions in the MP3 player on their MySpace."

The person who provided this information is afraid of being outed and, as such, being essentially ejected from the game. They are a newcomer who doesn't know how these things work, or how they should work.

I'll be honest... people SHOULD NOT FEEL THAT WAY. They should not be afraid every waking moment that something they say or do will end the experience for them.

Everyone's in fear of saying things in a public forum, including this one. Do you have any idea how many private messages I've received from people providing information, only because their afraid to post it publicly here? I can't stress enough... things should NOT be that way!

Playing with some of the audio from the video feed has produced no results so far for me.
I resampled, Timestretched, Pitch-Shifted, Reversed, Spectrum-Analyzed then EQ'ed, and raped 04.mp3

I have to start packing so see you all in a week.

EDIT: If someone can reverse ALL the audio files, including audio attached to videos and listen through it that'd be great. Its a very common way of hiding audio messages.

Collecting all the lyrics for all the songs would be great too. There are quite a few being hosted on the fake google page. Any lyrics that have similarities are a start.
