Interesting...

I was just checking the Cult of Rapture site to see if they had anything to verify the release date of BS2, when I saw this:
Quote:
SOMETHING IN THE SEA CONTINUES
August 28, 2009
Something in the Sea continues in Seattle on September 4.

- Elizabeth

BTW, that's when the Penny Arcade eXpo is going on...
So anyone going to PAX, please keep us updated!

Hey I'm on the something in the sea website, and I'm on that bit were it has twenty five symbols all theoretically representing the twenty six letters of the alphabet but I just don't know what to type in there, has anyone done because it's properly annoying me.

Read backwards from your post - we've had a pretty lively debate on the subject. Smile

Sorry, Greaseball, that record's been there for quite a while. It is pretty creepy though. Welcome to unFiction, by the way! Very Happy Fresh eyes are always welcome.

EDIT: Also, there's been a LOT of updating recently. I wonder if there's going to be something to the unlabeled folders after all?

Sad Same here. Maybe they'll be at SXSW? Highly unlikely though, and I'm not sure I'd quite be willing to pay 500+ bucks just for SitS...

Idea Hey! maybe they'll be at PAX East as well! ... Except that it's in Boston. Which isn't anywhere near me in Austin. /shrug

Has anyone noticed the crustceans book? I'm pretty sure it's gonna be relevant to our puzzle because you can't open it yet, that's not very helpful but I think it may be relevant to sources of adam beside little sisters and the sea slugs.

Yeah, that's from an old update. Basically just showed Mark and Celeste aren't on the same page in regards to lutwidge. There's a phone message from Celeste expounding upon it further.

That was supposed to be a hint to help figure out the name of the sea creature from the 4x4 puzzle named phronima. Funny thing was the puzzle was solved before this book was added in a later update.

I was actually looking through a dictionary to see if phronima was in there, it wasn't . By the way the Utropolis paper about Rod Killian Quain, on the floor with the audio tapes, what if, when he put the slash through the O in Rod it was meant to be like the F in the whatever this language is called that the 5x5 cube is encoded in?

By the way I forgot to say thankyou for your kind greeting

EDIT: It may be rather unhelpful but I have the coordinates for Rapture as said in the first game (Bioshock 1), It's written on piece of paper during the would you kindly speech, it's blurred but it looks like
63° 2° N
29° 55° W
But then does that mean we're missing East and South barings? Or does it not work that way?

No, the coordinates refer to the locations position North of the equator and West of the Prime Meridian. Unfortunately, I've tried typing these coordinates and the coordinates of the Frozen triangle mentioned in a previous update, but neither was the password. I do believe you're on the right track and that coordinates will play into the answer somehow.
