 		I see this as just another extension of Chaotic Fiction (a term coined by SpaceBass a couple of years ago when the "traditional" ARG was being stretched).

It's another method for storytelling.

remember, that marckesano was looking for people to help with a proof-of-concept for a fashion marketing IDEA. something he could show to fashion companies and say "hey, look at all the people i've got involved through an ARG. this is an untapped market you could utilize to bring in more profits."
