Spoiler (Rollover to View):

LAKE --> Reverse sound puzzle. Here is the sound when reversed:
http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.php?get=22364781.wav
Anyone recognize that language?

CITY --> Braille Code puzzle. Translates to "BLUE";

Also using the word FACE it appends to DOLL --> DOLL FACE
using the word BLUE it appends to CITY --> CITY BLUE

Okay, I missed something.
Where did you get FACE? Was is an attempted guess at something else, and it just completed the DOLL square?
Does that mean that FACE is the answer to the Doll "4" puzzle?
Maybe the chord is the tones F, A, C, and E, and the "4" was to tell us it was a 4 letter word.

If that is the case, then the answer to the Divine, Utah, & Lake puzzles are probably short single-word answers. The Utah answer might be 7 letters.

You are probably right about the FACE word and the solve of "4" puzzle... "face" is also a word from the latest video at jointhemosaic.com

Well, since discussion is pretty much entirely around these files now, I don't think spoilers will be necessary until further solves... collaborative puzzle solving

we've got DIVINE, DOLL, UTAH, LAKE, CITY
and the two have been solved.

5/9 locks available
DIVINE / ?
DOLL / FACE
UTAH / ?
LAKE / ?
CITY / BLUE

I like the solve for FACE, but the spectrogram for the sound shows a lot more tonage =P Dunno but I'm with you that that's the answer.

edit: n/m. Sonic Visualizer has another visual layer that shows melodic range analysis. Clearly 4 tones here. d'oh.

heh, also, they're calling uncovering puzzle the 'advent calendar' Razz
As for the random letters in the filenames, I'm pretty sure that's just for obfuscation so it's harder for people to guess the next filename.

ETA:
for lake, phonetically this is what I hear:

chimarayungparintingi akobesalmatan massetatsatupun purut atomulat akupunya
akumunyarang sabactuwactutamawanbiry akudaging tiap kali kamumanbiry acuminum akumaty

purut: indonesian = 'lime', icelandic = 'diarrhea'
tiap keli: indonesian = 'every time'
Indonesian?

Well sap, attempting some google/translate-foo... it feels like I'm getting closer...

chi mara yang parin tinggi, aku bisa matan. massi tat satu pun purut atu mulat aku punya. aku munia rang sabac tuactu tama wan beri aku daging. tiap kali kamumanbury aku minum aku mati.

translate roughly (so far) to (english underlined)

parin mara chi is high, I can honor. massi tat one lime mulat atu I have. I Munia sabac tuactu now wan give me all the meat. kamumanbury every time I drink I die.

some parts seems correct, others could be mis-translated depending on word breaks. I've been googling some words, looking for google corrections, contexts, etc. fun stuff Smile

"Give Me Food I Live. Give Me A Drink I Die. What Am I?"
that's a riddle.

and the answer is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
fire

which is the answer to the Lake puzzle.

Dang, you all are good Cool

I'm probably spinning my wheels here, but...
For the 'divine' clue I've played around with the numbers and the text box. Previously I tried using the numbers as x,y coordinates which gave 'TppyQN'
I've gone back to it trying different methods to pull out different letters. It's gotten me nowhere, but it might be useful to someone else.

Counting the letters left-to-right, top-to-bottom yields 'iJkTuT'.
Counting the letters top-to-bottom, left-to-right yields 'UpiSzl'.
Assigning each number to each line yeilds 'Tlkuou'

so that's
TppyQN
iJkTuT
UpiSzl
Tlkuou

Also I noticed that they have, since yesterday, changed the title of the page from 'Super Shark Advent Calendar'
