google roman azef and you'll find the thread, sixth link down.

I've done some research into the name Roman Azef. This may or may not be related, and is simply speculation. The name may be a pseudonym based on the names Roman Malinovsky and Yevno Azef. The common thread between them is that they were both contemporaries apparently working as agents/members of the socialist revolution, as well as double agents working for the Okhrana, or Department for Defense of Public Security and Order. I haven't looked deeply yet but they were pretty shady individuals
I can't view that forum here, it's blocked, but i was able to see that via a cache'd version of the site.
Maybe they hve some information we do not have currently? it might be worth looking into.

On my (hopefully) last side-note for this thread, you need to consider downloading Tor.

lol it's not that... I can get on it from my personal laptop; however, this being a government computer it tends to block certain sites. Especially if they're domains are other than American.

I think someone posted that same info in the trailhead thread a while back, as well. Might have additional info in it.

I posted about it, in the trailhead I think. It was back when the first MoT update happened and I did some research into the name, found some interesting historical context.

Uh actually I just reread that quote and realized they were quoting me lol. It's from what I wrote in the trailhead. Probably irrelevant but if you want to know anything more about it I can tell you.

Wee, I'm in too now.
Dubrovin just posted a memo an hour ago about the breach of A-T's intranet.

Mr. Wilde,
Much has changed in the last 48 hours. An incident relating to a mechanical error during a takeoff at Gongkar forced a delay in my schedule. Luckily, there were no casualties. However, my laptop was destroyed in the accident and I have yet to be released from the hospital for the minor injuries I sustained.
Prior to this incident, I was given a memorandum that contains some insights which you might find valuable. Efforts on Alfa-Tsentr's end has shifted markedly to Junsui image files abandoning any further analysis of the audio files. They are convinced that the two strings recently harvested from the Myspace audio are the "keys". Where or what the locks might be still seems a question of debate at last check.
Any information you may be able to furnish in regards to these matters would help us immensely.
Regards,
A. Dubrovin
My last name isn't Wilde, and I never gave him my last name. Should I point this out?
EDIT: The IP that Dubrovin references cannot be reached via HTTP, but it still has a DNS entry.

I'd let it slide. another players name might be wilde. He accidentally sent me a message meant for Sergio earlier today. It was probably just a slip up :]

Apparently the target suspect for the Alfa Tsentr intranet brief has been contacting some of our associates with the purpose of spreading false information.
Do not allow these very transparent tactics to distract you. We have definitely been unraveling their coded transmission method. Let's keep going!

Tutanda,
I am not a code breaker. I can pass the data along but not provide immediate answers. Because of the communications setup I have with Alfa-Tsentr, everything has to go through a couple filters and everytime information goes back and forth. I therefore recommend that you rely primarily upon your own team's resources.
I am aware that our target suspect has somehow managed to communicate with some members of your team, perhaps tauting them a bit. Don't let this be a distraction to the task at hand. It is exactly what they want us to do right now—lose sight of the objective. Please provide leadership to these men. We are in dire circumstances.

I think the korea stuff may be just a hoax. lets get working on the ftp protocall perchance and the 77dark corner stuff.

I can confirm that these mails were sent from the target's address.
I cannot confirm whether or not he had access to Alfa-Tsentr's POP.
I will say one thing, however—that it is relatively normal business practice for Russian companies to contract labor from DPKR. Unlike the United States, Russia does not have any trade embargo against them. Any allegations of Men Of Taste's involvement are definitely false.
Mr. Marckesano won't be in the open for long. This much I have been assured.
