Possible Cloverfield 2 viral start?

This video was sent to all the movie news blogs like FirstShowing, SlashFilm, etc., that's the only reason it's gotten press (they tweeted it). Cloverfield 2 viral wont start until there is a trailer, which there probably never will be. And it wont start through an email to a bunch of blogs.

Why this continues to get press, I don't know. It's obviously fake, I've done better film editing on Windows Movie Maker.

But, I suppose, I could be wrong. Laughing

Hmm... Sorry to say, but I have also a fake feelings... I mean... they won't use "Cloverfield" word in the viral promotion to "Cloverfield" (if there would be seen Slusho!, I'd be more impressed (use it, dear faker Smile

)

Btw, which language is it? it is not Japanese, beside of the clip title "そこに何ですか？", which sounds for me also not really Japanese. I'd say either "それが何ですか？", or "そこに何があるの?" or so...

I'm almost positive this is a fake. The video was poorly done, I don't think they will use the same gimmick of "cloverfield" being recorded over something already there, and why they would show you the whole monster (not moving by the way) when it took a whole movie just to get a glimpse of it is beyond me. I'm glad that someone wants to drum up buzz for a possible (and hopefully eventually realized) Cloverfield 2, but I just wish they would have done a better job. But my paranoid nature says that maybe it was supposed to look fake. I can't think of why, but you never know.

Also, Kosmopol makes a good point, the thing that most convinces me of this being a fake is the lack of representation from Slusho. That was a big part of the marketing for the first Cloverfield and was never really explained well enough in my opinion so why would they get rid of it. Slusho will probably be the identifying mark of anything Cloverfield related. Still a good find though. Appreciate it because I loved Cloverfield.
