UPDATE:

I have not received any further updates from A-T regarding the new captures in Shanghai. Last we heard they were putting their contained substance in for spectrographic analysis. I am not sure if I will get anymore information regarding the contraband but hopefully new facts will emerge from questioning of the detainees. Unfortunately that right now is being held up over political and jurisdiction negotiations with the Chinese authorities. It is a bit of a mess, I am afraid.

As far as this "dead drop" location goes—it was only speculation on my part before. But I would keep in mind that the initiative regarding information exchange seems to have transferred from the Junsui group to our Japan target, Marckesano. I would therefore trace his path for possible drop points...

In the last 30 days we are resonably sure he has been in the following general locations:

Washington DC/Langley VA
New York City
Los Angeles
Tokyo (and Yokohama)
Osaka
???

There are apparently no new reports or leads in the Japan search at this time.

Forgot to add, this is from Men of Taste about 2 hours ago

Think we can figure out the next location of Mr Marckesano? The 2nd post in the argentina forum was Marckesano's response to Junko, so i guess the location should come from a) The Bike-train riddle, or b) The bastard son of Bourdeaux.

Anyway, someone mentioned Venezia, Venice. It could be a nice idea, cos of the water and such, but it's a kind of special city for Italy, and has no train and no special involvement with bikes.

I've been investigating about the Imola, Muguelo and San Marino race tracks for Moto GP, but didn't find nothing.

Well, i gotta go to a phisiological psicology exam, and i've been cracking my head with this all the week, i haven't studied shit! Mr Patrick will have to pay my next year of the PhD!

I remember that thread on /x/. still makes my head hurt now Smile

Also, I know it may be meta and don't want to distract from the main puzzle at hand but has anyone joined http://vkontakte.ru/ and viewed the user with ID:37293483?

I've tried signing up but have failed the validation with my cell number for some reason.

Latest work on the puzzle at hand, I've looked through all the logos of the Italian motorbike manufacturers listed earlier to see if there are any visual clues....and come up with nothing. Evil or Very Mad

Argentina cannot be ruled out either. Delia (3D) is from and was born in, Argentina. Though historically left and returned many times -- always ended up there. Patrick, states very clearly, "I left what you seek -- there". 'There' can easily be Argentina.

Argentina also matches, wines, Italian culture, motorcycles, and trains.

Woah! is Vkontakte.ru IG?

No idea what this means but if you go to the root page and refresh, the number of users of the site, they are dropping by 1 a second each time you refresh?

Looks like a count down of some sort

Looks IG to me. Anyone managed to sign up?

Yes, i thought about it.. but i'll try to remember if there any possibility, or some kind of reference about Motorcycle and trains, downhere.. but i cannot connect them.

We have an extense Italian Culture over here, in fact my family is Italian Razz

Then, the Brands more "popular" here are Gilera, Piaggio Vespa, Mondial and Zanella... but there are another few too.

If there is any place around here where the exchage will occurs.. i'm going to sabotage it! (?) Shocked

That's really weird. Yeah, it's constantly counting down. It HAS to mean something (other than the site is losing popularity Laughing ). Looks like we should keep an eye on this.

EDIT: At the rate it's going, can anyone calculate approx. when it will reach 0?

near Vicenza.

However, do not forget that Italy and Argentina are strongly linked for what concerns the culture, cause of the immigration. I also got an exstensive italian culture, but the motorcycle thing is kinda weird. I have the feeling that is an obvious thing, but I'm not able to remember anything, I think we need more hints about this. Anyone is in contact whit Dubrovin to ask him something about?

My math does suck (so someone might want to double check) but i worked out about 488 days....which doesn't seem right?

42240344 / 60 seconds
= 704005.73333333333

704005.73333333333 / 60 minutes
= 11733.428888888889

11733.428888888889 / 24 hours
= 488.89287037037038 days

EDIT: On looking again it appears to be going down quicker than 1 a second. Anyone any good at programming as below is the code that is counting down:

Code:

 var memCount = 42226530;
 var memPerSec = 0.1;
 function updateCount() {
  next = -(1000 / memPerSec)*Math.log(Math.random());
  memCountString = '' + memCount;
  len = memCountString.length;
  memCountString = memCountString.substr(0,len-6)+" "+memCountString.substr(len-6,3)+" "+memCountString.substr(len-3,3);
  ge('memCount').innerHTML = memCountString;
  memCount = memCount + 1;
  setTimeout(updateCount, next);
 }
 addEvent(window, 'load', updateCount);

var captcha_send = 'Send';
var captcha_cancel = 'Cancel';

regardin the fact of water.

Downhere, we have a lot's of rivers and afluents, Lagoons and a HUGE Atlantic Coast.

But.. in the "Mesopotamia" we have three Provinces that are surrounded by rivers:

Entre Rios - Corrientes and Misiones, the last one had a limit with Brazil and also have a huge Waterfall, calld "Cataratas de Iguazú".

Maybe there's something there.

If you need some information or just have a doubt about Argentina, please ask me!

Vkontakte.ru is, in essence, the Russian equivalent of Facebook. It's "in game" as much as Facebook is; they have a profile and a group presence there, but otherwise it's a commonly known social networking site.

The countdown timer on the main page could mean anything; most of these sites adjust their user numbers frequently anyway. Trust me as I've actually written social networking sites: the number of users they say is not necessarily accurate. Wink

I'd take these locations into extreme consideration when it comes to decrypting our last message.

Also: We are WAY AHEAD of the "Junsui Team", so also keep that in mind. the last thing we need is for the PM to rebroadcast this on the JJ facebook/twitter pages.
