Did they actually say that? If they said 12 hours that would be a definite timeframe, but I haven't seen that said on here at least, nor on the MoT group.

I recall 12 hours being mentioned.

I think the drop would've led us to the next step, and that if the PM decides this isn't the end of the game for our side (which he hopefully will) then we will be given new information that will take us to the next step.

Also: I don't think we missed the drop necessarily. Urgency was stressed, yes, but the only reason everyone thought it was today (yesterday, technically) is because we figured it out today. If we'd figured it out yesterday the same thing would have happened, and the same applies to tomorrow as well. I think IF we have missed it, we'll be told so in some way. I'd bet we could still try it tomorrow/today (I hate not knowing what to do call the days when I'm up after midnight).

Well said. Agreed.

Dubrovin is no longer available.

He worked for Alfa-Tsentr and not other way around. A-T Vityaz are in command of this investigation and interdiction now.

I am providing confirmation to multiple personnel via my e-mail.

Be advised that there is estimated less than 12 hour window before drop point asset will expire. We have to move fast.

Not necessarily. Let's see what Yuri has for us tomorrow/today.

All the phone calls in the world would not have completed the mission.

Again, the option for any kind of remote action was not on the books. This was a face to face and nothing else.

Maybe this was designed to fail. Since it was confirmed that the establishment closed at midnight...yet apparently someone alwas picked up the phone...could it have been a set up? Has anyone thought of this?

All in all, in my opinion, we had a successful night.

Yes i though the same.
Unless, with all this repercution, maybe the dead drop has failed.
I bet that in somehow, there's gonna be someone checking this.

As a matter of fact, remember when we suspect that the place where in Italy.
Between 8 and 12 hours the theory was rejected, just because there was a group of specialist.. i mean... there's gonna b e something..

We follow Yuri orders.. we make everything we were able to.. Jus Wait for more instructions..

How are we successful? A drop just occurred, and we gained nothing from it.

Not necessarily. He's saying we missed the drop but we did still gain something from it. As to whether the drop was "designed to fail," though, I don't think it was. The PM didn't know we didn't have anybody near NY, hell we didn't even know that collectively until a few hours ago.

I've been thinking about it, though, and I'm not so sure that they won't extend the drop. I mean the PM's goal, no matter what the purpose of the project is and whether we can ultimately lose or not, is to keep us playing. If the drop was supposed to lead us to the next step, which seems like a logical and likely assumption, then having missed it we would either have to be given a digression from the plot (I.E. the PM having to come up with something new for us) via new information being created...OR some excuse could be made to extend the drop. I don't think we were intended to miss it, and I don't think this is the end.

I dunno, Yuri seemed to push that whole code-phrase to an employee thing pretty hard. Perhaps there is something just... Sitting there, in the back of the bar, just waiting for someone to come by and order a certain drink, and say a certain phrase?

Wow, lots to catch up on since it went dark this side of the pond. Seems a lot of progress has been made! Awesome work!

So if the drop is still available (i.e. the deadline has been extended from 12 hours) we know the following from Yuri:

Quote:
A code phrase will
likely be needed if it is not a dead drop. Perhaps this is given in the
exchange recovered from the Argentinian board. The last phrase which has
not yet made sense?

Quote:
You will have to call up more members of your team. You need man in the
box. No other options.

"Bordeaux" alone of course not phrase. Then everyone get the package!

It is the string repeated, right before drinking. I would guess English.

You need a man in NYC.

Quote:
Start vetting members on MoT.

You have to find somebody.

So following explicitly what we have been told the code word to use with the most senior bar tender or owner is "a phrase used just before drinking". Maybe like - Good Health or Cheers?

I would guess the phrase is used after ordering the "Bastard son of Bordeaux" as a drink

It's possible if with have no IRL people to go to NY the PM may have seeded the MoT group with a person who can and is willing to go to NY IG?

So as long as the drop hasn't expired, i guess we can do as Yuri suggested and start vetting MoT members.

Good day guys, I finally woke up. Yuri answered to my message with a bried message, saying it was a good point, and if i had people in NY. I've read all you've written since then and i see you've found a better place! But with all the discussion, I think you should stop the calls. Patrick or Won don't need to be there. I believe a member of the caffe's staff has the package, and we just have to order the right thing, be it a wine or something. The message said "everyone would be drinking" so maybe we should pay attention to what the crowd drinks there.
Now the inmediate problem is finding someone in NY willing to do the job.
Anyway, great breaktrough guys!

Maybe the code or the special order could be a glass or bottle of "Mouton-Cadet" that is the name for "the bastard son of Bordeaux"

I don't think the drop is lost just yet, i feel the "we only have 12 hours remaining only related to that day. collatting the ideas from above i think the owner/manager are in on the hand over. i think we need to get a body in there to order a glass of Mouton-Cadet, and then just ask outright if thewy have something behind the bar for them. I'm in Scotland so unfortunatly can't get there, but could give a shout out on twitter for a new yorker to help.

From Yuri

I awoke to this:

Quote:
NO MORE PHONE CALLS

If members violate these or any future direct order, A-T will cease all
cooperation with your membership.

In all likelihood, the team's rash actions has botched this operation by
tipping the terrorists off to our actions. I mean why didn't they just go
over to the Junsui page and write an open letter to the enemy? Seriously.

I would focus on getting somebody from NYC so you can possibly salvage this.
