Suggestion - can we talk about the Axons here so that the 404 page can get a clean discussion?

SP is terribly frustrating. I was hoping for more than "I don't know" and "I'd like to return." She knows she knew people, that's about all the new stuff we know about her, and then a ton more metaphor than can be read a hundred different ways. Neutral

Found 2 interesting things about this new 404 pagewritten by the Princess:

1.
Quote:
The only way up there is a pair of spiral staircases that wind around one another, with no rail and a very scary drop down the middle. Plus there's nowhere to hide, really, on a staircase.
reminded me right away of the double helix dna strand
[SPEC] The Queen could be trying to form a physical body.

2. I did a quick search and didn't see anyone else mention that the Princess is now able to use HTML code re: the new followtheyellowbrickroad, and a link to the onceuponatime.html
[SPEC] Im not sure what significance the html code has, but maybe the Princess might be able to follow our links we send her now.

Mayday

I like that you're thinking in AI terms... it's too easy to forget that the narrators here are software, and perceive the world differently.

Here's another possibility; is there a part of the ILB site that can only be accessed through two links? Perhaps we're looking at a software limitation instead of a hardware limitation.

Not accessible... I guess

Hmm... Do you think accessing the tower by the double staircase will be possible right now? Then why the SP directed us towards the kitchen, through the secret passage?

What about the mirror? What do you guys think the mirror is?

INCyr and I, at least, will be looking for the DC coordinate.

I understand that the new points are more than likely going to be getting phone calls, but I thought I would throw this image out, since the points form a nice curve across the south and west US borders.

Interesting... she's tiptoe-ing around the edges of the United States for her axons. Smile

(I said "interesting". I didn't say "useful") Wink

Easy way to look up Axon points on a map

Avari wrote:
Im going to try and make it to the portland one, looks like it is around NW 23rd. Anyone have a better way to look these up?

I think this will work for you:
Link here
Select the latitude / longitude coordinates from the ILB web page and paste them into the address box on the RandMcNally.com form. Put a comma in between the two numbers like this:
38.898893, -077.039445
and, off you go.

If the map form doesn't come up right, just start at randmcnally.com, click 'get a map', and 'lat/long'.

EDIT - ginormous URL -SG

More of the same. This one came from RandMcNally.com. I tried drawing the route between the points, but it didn't seem to add anything.

I know this was mentioned before, but it might help to bring it back up:

The Glass Coffin

Some key parts:

Basically, a tailor finds a secret hall with some sort of elevator:

"...stone began to give way under his feet, and sank slowly down into the depths."

which takes him to an underground crypt, and, of course, the Princess. She tells him a little about how she came to be there:

"So it came to pass one evening that a stranger came riding to our castle, and, under pretext of not being able to get on to the next place, begged for shelter for the night. We granted his request with ready courtesy, and he entertained us in the most agreeable manner during supper by conversation intermingled with stories."

The Castaway?

later...

"Hardly had I fallen off to sleep, when the sound of faint and delightful music awoke me."

and then...

"He came to me and said, that by magic arts which were at his command, he had caused the lovely music to sound in order to awaken me, and that he now forced his way through all fastenings with the intention of offering his hand and heart."

Interesting that we also associate the Castaway with music.

I dunno, maybe trout, maybe helpful. Read the story for yourself if you're interested.

Just thought I'd throw this in here, i don't care if it's a trout or not...

A glass coffin could easily be a cryo tube. Could the sleeping princess possibly be an AI inside an unconcious(possibly frozen) spartan?

The other hidden axons must be like the recipe3.html page.

Right below is says VERY INTERESTED (like the YOU), in seven-y things… (which is the XX/777)

Quote:
Here are seven more people, as 'cause you guys seem VERY INTERESTED in seven-y things….

Sophia
What would your kingdom be like, if you got to make one or fix up the one you're in now?

Sara B
Do you have any dragons in your dungeon? Do you like dragons? If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Grey B
How can you hear and see so much? Most importantly, how can we trust you?

Wandering Angela
We've been wondering about your relationship with the Queen. Are you her daughter? Or are you a visiting Princess from another kingdom? Do you have a name other than Princess?

Matias D
What do you see? What are you afraid of seeing? What would make you smile?

James L
How old are you? Do you have a job? If you're lost, a good idea is often to retrace your steps. What were your old friends like?

Smooth Jack
How do you feel about human beings? I mean, are you human? Do you work with or relate to humans in any significant way? If so, how so?

So I think there might be 7 more hidden pages in the above text, with 4 Axons problably in each ??
