 		Hey guys :]

I think I'm going to jump aboard this train.
PM got my attention about it via twitter yesterday.
Junko Junsui is frustrating the heck out of me to no end... Pushing too many lines, and infringing on areas where he shouldn't....

I got spun up on what the status is so far. Later today I'll try to message Uno to see if he'll be ope to writing me. From a therapeutical standpoint, opening up to an unbiased party can help.

Poor guy... That would be such a hard situation to deal with.

 		I might get trouted for this, but Uno finally caught my attention. for the pictures on http://hallucinine.com/footnote1.htm, what if

you're supposed to count the number of books. that's why there are 3 pictures, so you can see them all.

I get: 5 5(1) 6 15?

The (1) is cause I don't know what to do with the open book, and the 15? is because my eyes are tired and it's late. And I don't know what to do next.... is it A A(or B) B B(1+5=6)? A B B C?

The "ATDT C. MEGA +++" is similar to the commands used when dialing another computer with a dial-up modem.

AT starts a command, DT means to dial with tone dialing, and then its usually followed by the number. For example, ATDT 5551212 would start a call to a computer at 555-1212.

While you are interacting with the computer on the other end, +++ is used to return back to commanding the modem instead. This was often followed by ATH, the command to hang up, which is noticeably missing here.

ETA: on hallucinine myspace page, under interests he says "the last book".

the last book in the universe is a sci-fi book by Rodman Philbrick. not sure if its relevant but in the first paragraph on the wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Book_in_the_Universe it says

"The story is set in a future world which has been disturbed by an earthquake known as "The Big Shake". The only place where people can apparently live happily is called Eden, but only the Genetically Improved (known as "Proovs") are permitted to live there. Eden is like the world that we live in now with trees and sky. The Urb is mostly grey and has few other colors. The Colors include gray, black, white, and Blood Red."

these are the colours that uno has been using so far in the site and avatars.

It's quite possible, but he also seems pretty obsessed with the Book of Revelation, which is the "last book" of the Bible. I find this interesting because the number 9 is not at all prominently displayed in the Book of Revelation -- it's all 7's and 6's, etc. But then, he doesn't always properly identify things. For example, he kept referring to the "13th book", and then would link to the 13th chapter of the Book of Revelation. So, who even knows if he really means "book"?

Personally, I've been pretty unhappy with the way this ARG is paced and I'm a bit thrown by stuff like this. As a result, I still don't have the trust I need in the PMs to run after clues like I did in the beginning. I guess we'll see what happens after the 9th!

It's the same as the text. I isolated just the voice and amplified it. Otherwise the hangup and dialtone will break your ears.

It's stereo, but both tracks are identical. The funkiness of the sound is inherent in the tracks. I don't think there's anything in there, but perhaps someone else can filter through it. Don't really know how to, and uh... this whole thing scares me. (yes, I am a wuss.)

Sometime between yesterday and today, Uno Hallucinine changed his Facebook status to just this:

Also, 9.909 in the new Facebook profile pic that imitates a periodic table entry can't really be said to be missing a decimal...yes, the important date for us is 9.9.09, but a regular decimal number (not a date) such as the atomic mass he's trying to imitate can't have more than one decimal in it, of course.

For completion, here's part of what I commented on his new pic:
"Our friend here has imitated the *style* of the printable periodic table from http://www.webelements.com/nexus/Printable_Periodic_Table (I use it with my students all the time), but I don't believe he is making reference to a chemical element at all...hence his description of himself as a HUMAN element."

That last bit is in reference to the photo's caption:

In an attempt to hear this phone call y'all are mentioning (please tell me how to find it if I don't say later I got it), I am going over the site again with Internet Explorer, and http://www.hallucinine.com/war.htm turned out to have audio on it, too.

 		I'm pretty sure that wasn't on the war page before...
I've looked at it several times, and never once heard audio until you just mentioned it...

The audio fits with the modem commands from page 6... the screeching is the initial connect noise for a dialup modem.
