Personally, I dont think we are playing the game correctly. (Now dont tak my advice seriously, I'm new to ARG's) I belive that we should, in some way, figure out WHAT has happened to Melissa. I base this theroy on the "info" page. (The one which describes what has happend).

I think you're correct. Melissa states on the 'hives' page that she is hearing these voices but does not know where they are coming from. These are not memories. Melissa is receiving these transmissions from an outside network as a result of the damage. We know that she is operating and transmitting in our time, but these transmissions are clearly from a future time.

The conclusion would seem to be that her accident has somehow left her disjointed in time. She is perceiving the data flowing through future networks, and may even have a facet of her personality operating in one of those networks (Durga), but she does not yet grasp the fact that this has taken place.

"Apocalypso," it sounds like.

Anyone know a Marine Lance Corporal Janet Adams?? (Apparently she's really rude? Wink)

And what is the conversation about the Apocalypso doing in the middle of that conversation??? Is that perhaps someone focusing Melissa's/Durga's attention elsewhere, momentarily? Or..?

Hmm, I wonder if "Hello" opens with the military personnel talking about monitoring data and then segues into the customer service call.

Goodbye.wav transcript:

Quote:
Man (continuing from receipt.wav): Marine lance corporal Janet Adams. I was very careful to write that down.
Woman: One moment, sir.
(beep beep)
(Knocking at the door)
New man 1: Any data yet?
New man 2: A lot of chatter from the cable, sir. It looks like a ship dropped in, inside of lunar orbit.
New man 1: A ship...
New man 2: One of ours. The Apocalypso, sir.
New man 1: Jesus!
New man 2: Sorry sir, I should have been more specific.
(beep beep)
Woman: I'm sorry to say Corporal Adams was killed in action almost 2 months ago, sir.
Man: Oh... but I have a receipt!
Woman (sighing): Alright! I'll pass this along to my superiors.
Man: Well I appreciate that. I know my family papers aren't probably the Navy's first priority right now, but...
Woman (sarcastically): Very forebearing of you, sir.
Man: ...but they mean a lot to ME. And I have a receipt.
Woman: Thank you sir, your request has been archived and information pertinent to this case will be sent to this CP address.
Man: Thanks so much, I really appreciate...
Woman (interrupting): Goodbye!
(beep beep)
(long wind-down sound)

Rather than prolong this ginormous thread which nobody can be reading, may I suggest you take discussion of the new clips to the new thread I just started?

you know, seriouslly. I think I give up on all this. It just seems like now, there are all these new things popping up within the ILB site when you type in different things, like someone is just screwing with us now. You got the sleeping princess talking like some 14 year old valley girl ( so much for an intelligent A.I) and it just seems like by now, anyone could have gotten into that site and put whatever they want just to keep people running around like a bunch of crackheads. This may have started as something that could have been interesting to keep up with, but now it just seems like someone is putting all this together just to see how completly insane some people can be with the stupidist things. sorry, but that has become my opinion because noone seems to know what the hell is going on, but keep talking like they know everything thats going on. some of you need to seriously get a reality check, and the others need to have their head throughlly examined. sorry

Pull yourself together soldier! That's no time for giving up! Do you love the bees or not??

Erm.. I mean, c'mon crypy, relax, everything is under control... just take a break from the bees for a day or two, then come back, analyze the situation, have a chat with our friends here...This is supposed to be fun, like AD said. Right?

Hey guys, I just started really jumping in to this whole phenomenon... but I just listened to all the recordings...
They're all obviously linked in some way... each ends where another should begin...
Also, I don't know if you noticed or remember this but when they first start and end...
Well, remember that sound in Halo 1 that master cheifs helmet made when he watched the video on the data disk... that loading up sound... of the dead soldier right as you were coming to the flood?
Listen for it at the beginning and end of the wavs.
Chew on that...

sorry, i'm fairly new to the way this all runs too, but that stuff's been mentioned.
In argument to crypykeeper, look at what we have here. This thing has been elaborately constructed. The time, effort and cost that has gone into all this must speak volumes about what we're dealing with here. The bandwidth cost alone on that site must be massive by now. Then you've got the process of calling a new "axon" every 3-4 minutes for 12 hours. Not to mention all the incredibly detailed and well-planned 'corruption' on the site, on dana's voicemail, and all the other junk people are turning in. Then the reference from the Halo 2 trailer. That surely smacks of either Bungie or Microsoft being involved. Through everything that's been happening, there is a very obvious system of control. I'm not even totally convinved that those sound-files we managed to get without them being unlocked (can't think of their names right now), were a mistake by the makers. Whoever's responsible for all this has gone to a huge amount of effort, and are not about to let it just deteriorate into some treasure-hunt for the next few weeks. Stay with it people, there's always a new twist.

removed trout icon because there were no links to helpful threads. - krystyn

Where can I find these new .wav's? I cannot find them anywhere on the site!

So, I have been listening to the 2/2 Axon files and I noticed that they can be pieced together like the 1/1 files.

So far, I have been able to place the 2/2 axon files in these orders:

------------------------------------------
Dizzy
Escape
Jersey
Reflected
Durga
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Tuna
Hi_Aiden
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Law_Abiding
You_Knew
------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------
Blip
Pillow
Walkaway_Girl
Hey_Soldier
-------------------------------------------

That leaves the following 2/2 .wav files on their own for the time being:

Four_Goats
Beer
Emergency
Our_Hoodlums
Much_Lifting
Guilty
Message_Saved

I have no clue where the different chunks of files fall into the story. Basically, I don't know which order the chunks go in.

I also don't see a connection between the 1/1 axon files, the 2/2 axon files, or the 3/3 axon files, although I have not listened to all of the 3/3 axon files.
