Nah, I don't plan on leaving. The PM's an arse, yeah, but this game's got me intrigued. I want to see the end.

ok, tried the number (6420608) as:

cellphone in chile: worked, but i got answering machine (probably off)
address in chile: nothing so far
coordinates: tried some combinations but so far i got random points among Russia

crap, what are we supposed to do with this? D:

on another note, i was watching the TGA file, and i got some random thoughts, like the girl in the pictures lying on the bed facing down, maybe in a "giving birth pose?" (referring to the conception stuff) and the other one in the chair like waiting for something, i know its not very accurate, but i doubt they just put the characters on that positions abruptly.

This puzzle will most likely have one of two likely solutions:

1. The image has steg data. The number is either a key or some indirect link to a key.
2. The image does not contain steg data. In which case, the analog content of the image is what is significant. In my opinion, this includes:
- The attire of the actors.
- The poses/positions of the actors.
- Any props in the room. (esp the picture on the wall)
- The relationship(s) between these things relative to each other.
- The relationship(s) between these things and other information we already have.

The first thing we must determine is whether or not the image has any steg information. From what I can tell, that has not been conclusively determined as of yet. From there, we will know how to better coordinate our efforts and, more importantly, deduce the significance of the 7-digit number. In the meantime, I would encourage a discussion of who the actors in this picture might be (characters we already know) and what their purpose is in this setting.

- V

Regarding the poses they were in: they changed with the different times I was in game with them. You can, in fact, sit in the chair/bed they sat in and cycle through a few poses yourself. I'm not entirely convinced they had this space designed specifically for them besides the obvious overlay of Gwasche in that photo frame.

I found a bit of a video tour of the room for those interested.

iŽd been trying "la concepcion" thing all my day and iŽd get nothing. anyway thereŽs is a conception missouri there is a chance there?

anjother thing. i doŽn't think that the junko post abput mission in chile was related with the puzzle. mostly because he need the code behind the picture as much as us

sooooooo, playing with PS and our famous picture, nothing clear yet but here's a brief report.

1->the image as i got it, the black gap intrigued me
2->adjusting the brightness made the weird symbols appear
3->turned it to b&w to make them more clear

im no expert in steg stuff but im quite sure this file has some data we can juice out, the symbols are similar to what i got once i changed the extension of the TGA file into TXT and opened it with a notepad

going to bed now, hope you guys can keep on looking into this

cheers

Update from YURI

Quote:
UPDATE:

Judging by the intel we've examined in the past 24 hours, the end package which the terrorists are trying to pass on almost certainly has to do with some unauthorized access gained to our intranet system.

The problem is that we don't have a log of what was breached. Our systems are simply vast and the intruders used an undocumented unknown debug mode which evades their access being recorded in the logs.

A screenshot or other record of their unauthorized access might very well be the prize. Something like this has to be sitting stationary, stored online. "6420608 - THE CONCEPTION" might describe a way to gain access. The question is where and how?

just a moment ago i remeber that AAT said some post ago: "keep it simple" there is a chance that "6420608 - THE CONCEPTION" can be some kind of username-pasword maybe afa-tsentr o nse

If I remember correctly, Nighthawk told me that the login on those sites aren't possible at all.

That can easily change.

remember also that there a couple sites so far that use Basic Authentication not some flash page with a user id and passowrd box. Basic Auth is a server level authentication scheme. the sites so far that behave this was are http://shestirs.com and http://homeostatic.net[/url]

But apparently the user/pass combo don't work on any of the known sites. Furthermore Tretiak talked about unauthorized on their systems, so looks like that we have to work on A-T & co sites. Maybe is the time to disemble the flash on more time?

that's make a lot of sense since if i remeber right we intercept some kind of info that pattrick send to the junsui... and pattrick steal a A-T & co siteŽs password. maybe no so face palm after all

The A-T site at least provides immediate feedback on the login; it's not validating yet. The Flash hasn't changed apparently.

Same goes for NSE.

A-T only has one other site, MoT, and that has no known login anywhere.

Only other places I can think of is Homeostatic (which is arguably locked down so it's "out of game") and "She Stirs" (which we are technically not supposed to know about; we haven't actually been TOLD of it).
