I downloaded a set of the images earlier and made an overview of the images so far, in case anyone wants to look at the patterns everything formed. Attached.

Since I had all the images, I gave them a quick run through stegdetect, though I don't think there is anything leading us that way. Definite negative on all except page 12, but it is very likely a false positive.

Also, we apparently have a whole hallucinine subforum now.

 		Hi, I'm just beginning this new ARG and i would like to knoe which are the clues or teh locks we need to find becouse i can't get it clear i read the whole hallucinine gae but can't find no clue

Considering that the game "Really" started on the 9th, we don't have any official puzzles just yet. Give it time though, I am sure there will be a few. Very Happy

-But.... am I being a total Dunce or what. Isn't the fourth prime number 5? (You know- 1, 2, 3, 5)
What am I missing here? I feel like there's something else that I'm just not getting...

This has been bugging me for a while, so I just had to ask. Very Happy

Srry but number 1 isn't a prime so the number will be 2,3,5, and 7 that would be the fourth prime 7

 		Hey everyone!

This is my first ARG, and I feel like I'm really just dipping my toes in the water, here. But, I spent most of last night reading up on this entire thread, going through all of the site's content, etc. I'm really happy that I've found one which appears to be just starting out (even if Adam's been building a userbase for months now). Surprisingly enough, I didn't jump in from Facebook at all -- I was going to bed shortly after that was posted. I decided yesterday to get into an ARG. Found my way to ARGnet, and consequently here.

So, I'm going to throw a couple of comments out there. Maybe they're stupid, but it seems to me that the only unappreciated posts in here are ones that have already been posted. I am, however, going to preface this by saying that this entire post is just rambling speculation. I have not reached any conclusions yet. I just hope others can use this post as a springboard to solve some puzzles, because I've made no real headway. So, here goes.

First of all, I feel like the reply he's sent most people on Facebook is extremely important.

Given that, on thedoorisopen.htm, the first words are so utterly cryptic, I think they have some special meaning. "They laugh at me, but I am symmetry". This reminds me of the third and fourth pages, where the "random" letters which seem to litter the page are a mirror image of one another. None of it seems coherent or relevant, but did we ever figure out what the attached (below) character is, or is supposed to mean? Everything else is easily legible; there is a t, an s, and an r. But what is that thing? Almost looks like half of the Stratovarious symbol (which is also featured four times on the flag of Quebec). - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8e/Stratovarius_(album)_cover.jpg
I'm not saying they're related, but that's the only thing it really looks like to me.

Mentioning symmetry and the third and fourth pages also brings to mind another fact about those pages - the fourth is a mirror image of the third, right? Well, if you flip the text on the fourth page around, it's in the shape of a relatively coherent 4. This seems to go along with other text patterns, such as a 7 and an I (thanks to Disza, because none of this dawned on me until she mentioned page 15 looking like "I"). Page 8 looks like it's been scrunched up against the left side like that. It seems pretty deliberate. But, I can't really make a shape out of it.

To continue this rambling train of thought, "I am the third square, daring to become complete" also seems exceedingly cryptic. Third square could be a math reference. Or, it could be a reference to the shape of the words on pages 1 and 5 -- seems to me that would be two out of three squares.

The notebooks are bugging me. Photo 1 is clearly set to a different page than photos 2 and 3. Its red bookmark has also been shifted to the left. It's also the closest photo to allowing that page to be legible. Also, in photo 3, I think we need somebody with some more advanced photo editing abilities to go in and see what they can make of that orange book. The file compression still ruins any chance I have of being able to read it (I don't even have Photoshop installed since my most recent reformat), but it looks like that's the closest we're going to come to getting something out of those pictures. Assuming that there's anything to be found...

Finally, the engel page. Are we dismissing all of that just because of the burgundy fish comment? Being new here, I really don't know how to spot a red herring. Do they always make it as obvious as "THIS IS A (insert colour) (insert creature)"?

Also, somebody posted a new page that has been linked from page 1, on his Facebook.
