Me & my deviousness signed up a friend or two. ^^
I told them, but I'm trying to recruit more people to the ARG world.

Wow, now I'm expecting a lot! Very Happy (Don't wanna put the pressure on, but with 800+ people already signed up, you are in a position to revolutionise the way we think of "ARG" and internet gaming.) I can't wait! Very Happy

I signed up too. I like what they explain on their blog.
So, waiting for this cutting edge ARG promise.

Teh blog looks so pretty. It's actually cool to me that they'll be going indepth about the process to run/make an ARG. I've read This Is Not A Game by Dave Suborski so i know some, yet not all.

In game art...

New blog shot with screenshots. Screenshots? For an arg?
http://blog.rachelswalk.com/2009/09/creating-the-world/

Reminds me, has anyone ever run an arg inside an mmo or inside Second Life? Interesting idea. Looks like RW will have its own persistent environment but curious if an arg had ever "infected" some other online persistent world.

Sorry for the slight off topic but enjoy the screenies!

Edit: "blog shot"? Need more coffee. By the way, I signed up for RW some time ago but never got any kind of email response. Did others get a reply?

Cool, thanks

I will check that out. Seems like something we might see more of, or is Second Life kinda past its prime?

Here is a little "celebrity" commentary on RW from Brian Bricker the (in)famous creator of "I'm Sorry".

@RFMartin You just watch. The insanely long, excuse-filled lead up to this Rachel thing will actually turn out to be the game. Surprise!

I doubt this but just in case, is there anything else out there or is it just the one pretty signup page so far, plus the new blog? I think he is just being sarcastic but he is, from all reports, the current king of blurring the IG/OOG lines!

Funny thing is I signed up just because everyone was talking about it. I didn't, until the blog post, know anything about it and have not even read the 12 pages of this thread.

Dont Worry bout IG/OOG. DLI likes to create blogs on their creation and development of games and software and anything on this bloc will be clearly OOG. He even says sosmewhere in the blog that nothing in it will ocver storyline and it should all be considered OOG.

That said, cant wait for this one.

Second life isnt past its prime. It was a victim of the relentless cycle of whats the in thing in computer circles. Personally I am surprised to see it mentioned here because it takes alot of time to learn how to do basic stuff (it isnt a game but a platform for other things mostly social interaction and holodeck ish stuff)
