Hey guys, I THINK the pm may have tossed us a meta bone...
or could be just coincidence. Anyway, I asked in the other thread about who was this Richard Garrison that posted the Silver Ladder link on Uno's page....
Well doing a whois of the silver ladder site reveals a name. It also reveals:

Ok-- the part that catches my eye is the "Hurricane Electric"..
Because before Sept. 9, whenever we entered a page that did not exist, the 404 error would lead to a hurricane electric page....
So, could be the pm is tossing a meta clue?? Or could be someone else messing with us for whatever reason. But if you look at the code @the silver ladder site, there are similarities in how it's written...

Does anyone have any thoughts on this... could hallucinine be an "entry" point for something else that coming up later??

-I'm getting confused again! We'll all need therapy after this game!

 		It looks like shane is doing another ARG. I hope he isnt connecting hallucinine with silver ladder because that would be lame. Also in silver ladder, shane liked to anonymously lurk the forums and chatrooms as someone else. So maybe we should be on the lookout for suspicious posts.

I agree. I think we have a really cool pm on our hands here. Also, there is something else.. someone else commented to uno that since ben linus and charles widmore are now he friends that he should find a new storage unit.

I thought the timing of that was a bit suspicious... I think we should do a good check on his list of friends...?

I don't get the feeling that these two would be connected, but a search here did not reveal that the page linked to was ever found/connected to the archived arg. So I guess we should ask someone who played it, if it's a "new" page and get their opinion?

 		Ok... the person, (Richard Garrison), who posted the mysterious link on uno's FB page, has apparently deleted it. It's like it never existed. (I think maybe they also are "un-friended" now...?

Oh, well.... on with the game!

Hey all!

Just had to throw my $.02 in on this one.

Hurricane Electric is a HUGH ISP on the West-Coast. They provide Hosting & Content Distribution/Aggregation for some of the bigger .com services, like Amazon EC3, and Yahoo. I am guessing that the PM is using HE for all of the hallucinine.com hosting. (Pages, MP3's, etc...)

I am pretty sure that the error message that we were getting is not IG. I believe that the PM just forgot to turn on the "404 Redirect" on his site... and thats why we were getting the HE 404 page instead. Once he realized the mistake (probably from my script looking for the twoofus.htm page every 90 sec! Smile ), he quickly made the change.

I could be wrong, but a friend of mine host his WordPress blog on HE... and he had a similar problem. Very Happy

Just wanted to let ya know that I'll be working on getting the wiki caught up. I'll get all the new images put on there and the source code, vids, audio, etc.
And if on one else hasn't done it, I'll head over to communications and timeline and update those as well.
It's alot of work with quite a bit of info.. so it will take me a little while. But I'll start on it a little later today.

I just saw I'm able to update.. so I'll be doing some work tonight since I have no work tomorrow and nothing else to do >.> -looks over at the ahole next to her at work who didn't want to come over and spend time- Pft, who needs relationships when you have ARGS... <.<

 		I don't know... I wouldn't think so. But the timing of the first attack is around the same time as he became "friends" with a suspicious character on his FB. I don't know. But as soon as AJ gets online, we'll work on fixing it. -But I wouldn't even try to do anything until then.
There are also a couple of comments toward our uno that don't seem very friendly...

 		The only thing I can think of is a grudge against our pm by someone. When AJ had the wiki started it was set so anyone could edit it... hoping to encourage people to join in..
But I was just going to wait until it gets protected before changing it back. I was thinking if we fix it back first, we may get an even worse second attack. At least as it is now, it can be fixed.

 		Despoiler and other ARG wikis record IP addresses of those who make edits. Does ours? Did it grab the IP of the vandals?

I don't see why the PMs would do this. I would think it would be counterproductive to their cause.
