so what was everyone's final scores?!?!?
just wondering how i did comparatively

I loved the reasoning game, after i figured out what was being asked of us I was able to do all the reasoning games without a single wasted click (except for week 3 with the few islands off of the board, I wasted a few guessing on those until getting it right after figuring out the rest of the board). I missed 1 question on each of the knowledge games so i only got 800 points each from those. on the strategy game if you set up the board so that you had a bunch of places to give the computer only 1 or 2 squares at a time they would never use them against you so that made that kinda easy I usually got about 110-125 of the 150 squares and i usually had my wife help me on the culture one, 2 heads being better than 1 and all. all things considered i only had 2 advocates (both family members) and ended up with just under 12000 points, I think it was 11960.

I think I finished with something like 10060 - while I was pretty good at the Strategy (Dots and Boxes) games, I struggled with the Reasoning (Hashi/Bridges) games... however, now that I've figured them out (too late :p) I'm quite addicted Very Happy I really think I got screwed on the Knowledge questions - there were several times where I was SURE I got every single question right, and still only scored 600-800 on those :p

Oh well, I guess we'll find out on Oct 1st... long time to wait!

I hope that some of us are finalists. That way we may find out sooner.

I had a score of about 7,900 since the Culture game screwed me over three weeks in a row, skipping trys and also not registering my finds and just taking clicks. I could have over 10,000, but that part alone screwed me over.

WOOOHOOOO!!!

So today both myself and my mother received the prize claim emails. So You will be seeing us both in the top 12 that is sooooo awesome!!!! sorry if it seems like i am bragging or gloating I am just excited, my mother called me literally about 15 minutes ago to tell me she got the email so then i rushed to the library (internet is being screwy where i just moved to) and saw that i had one also. soo I hope some others got them good luck to all of you opening your emails.

p.s. if you think that i am a noob or anything like that since i haven't posted anything in this game until like yesterday, I would have been posting all along but didnt have the net except for the half an hour a week or so to do the games. I was very active in the cloverfield arg a couple years ago but since my free/internet time has dropped. just thought i would kinda introduce myself since i will be begging for your votes!!! Twisted Evil

Cool phantomjester. Congrats Smile

This has me hopeful, since I scored higher than what you posted above! Haven't received any sort of notice though. *fingers crossed*

I'm not wanting to call anyone out on here if they don't want to be but i was sent a pm on unfiction by gdesignr saying that he also made it to the top 12.
Also i was wondering if you guys could help me out. I am trying to decide if i should do my "campaign"(i.e. my slogan/platform and my video of the first 3 things that i would do as leader) seriously or more funny. I have some material for either way but i just can't decide if I should do a more serious "this is what i would actually do" or a more funny joking one. so any thoughts?

No problem phantomjester. I had already shared the news back on the "week 4 election tests" thread.

If I remember correctly, my final score was 15760. I know the first two digits were 15. I'm just surprised that noone here scored higher. I thought there would be people that got full advocation all four weeks and amazing scores on all the games, but apparently not! I am a candidate, by the way. I was doing my laundry when they called me, lol. I don't think they emailed me, though. I've done all my legal forms they sent me, so I'm looking forward to getting that PS3 and camera pretty soon! Very Happy

congrats minkus, well done. I figured out that they called me first, but i have very recently moved and gotten a new phone number so they just left me a voice mail. However since they did not speak to me in person that is why they sent the email as well. oh and btw gdesignr and minkus that email we got about the rule change is because of me. I was thinking about the profile questions and I realized that because of the old wording of the rule it made it nearly impossible to answer the question so i called and the guy i spoke with said to go ahead and answer anyway i liked and if there were issues he would let us know. so issue resolved at any rate.

It's cool that half the winners are in this forum. You're going to have to make big promises about how you'll change the post-2012 world to win my vote Laughing
