Can someone convert the mp3 into a text output of the notes that make the tune up?

Cool

I found this file...I think the music was done on a Midi so try this
http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/MIDI_CONVERTERS/Demo/

My media player says it's playing at 160Kbps if that helps. My player only takes file that start with voiceatt.wav so this might part of its adderess.

Have to download it...will try it.

Could it be morse code?

It sounds something like this:

Code:
              .      -
          -    .        -
    -      .    -.     .   -
   .   ..                 .
-                 - .        ..

I was thinking the same thing too. Your morse however looks all jumbled and out of place. However if it IS morse code, then i know of a site that can translate it.

I do not know how other people think about it ... but I really hate Brute Forcing. The PMs put a lot of time and effort into designing nice and unique puzzles for people who like solving puzzles.
But after the solution is known there is not much fun in solving the puzzle and there is no group effort anymore in doing so. I personally think that exactly this group effort is the most funny part in an ARG.
With all those brute forced solutions I start to loose interest in this ARG.

Of course one could argue that nobody has to read the spoilered solution. But the other puzzles have shown that people will stop working collaboratively on the solution as soon as the solution is posted.

So at least give us "players" a fes days to find the solution in a way that is funny, before posting the brute forced solution.

Bulliten Board

I noticed Blue Hand, Mosaic, Baby Doll, Dr. Gibbons. What did you all see?

Also, notice that thing on his wrist. What's that all about?

Catalystpoet, the name is "D. Gibbons."
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Mark Benford's daughter is connected to the "friendship bracelet."

I spent some time today compiling the ARG keywords and combining them with a particular screen grab from one of the previews. It might help to solve the main photo perhaps. As a point of trivia, at least 50% of the keywords are in this single photo (!).

I was going to post the screen grab, but I think I'll wait until the last two keywords are found here as I do not want to expose spoilers.

I plan to keep checking back to learn what the method was to solve our older puzzles. I do have this to offer on the puzzle called "box 7" (puzzle #Cool, which is the latest one. I do not have the software to convert the mp3 into notes, but it might be that once the notes are readable and cypher-shifted to the left, the answer would be seen. Remember that notes will be down at the beginning of the alphabet scale and "Y" is only two away from the end of the alphabet. It seems as though a down/left-shift would bring out the E-Y-E sequence. For example, "GAG" (all within normal note notation) left-shifted two places would bring "Y" within reach and become "EYE."

Yes, they are using red string or twine to link different pieces of evidence. They are seen on the various screen grabs I've done of preview clips.
