 		I have to agree. I don't think that is Slender Man. I just believe that you're seeing things that IMHO just aren't there. I could go on YT and find a random video and enhance it/mess with the colors and then say "Hey it's Slender Man!" when I find a blurry image but I don't think that helps anything.

But you'd be wrong.
A) It's not a random YT video, it's MH.
B) Who said anything about messing with colors? All i did was up the brightness.

It is what it is, and "it" happens to be slender dude. Ask J if you want. I'm not making an account just to further prove my point.

 		But when you have to enhance the brightness and circle it in red and point to it repeatedly to get people to see what you're talking about, it's probably not an image of Slender Man that was meant to be found, and is much more likely just a natural image that happens to look like Mr. Thin.

I pointed it out once, not repeatedly.

And when you have to decompile a video response into audio, and separate the channels, and play a sound backwards, at a different frequency, etc, etc, just to hear something possibly sounding like "Ah-lecks?" How is that considered canon and something you can outright see isn't? Gimme a break.

Shall we take a vote?

 		Lol, bro, you're trying too hard to be right.

You and I can both continue playing the game and get all the emotional stimuli whether or not we believe that particular image is one of the Slender Man. It's not like we're arguing over whether or not Slender Man was in Alex's house in Entry 11, which is a major plot element/emotional stimulus. This image is far too minor to merit so much passion.

I'm not trying hard to be right, I'm trying hard to keep things on track. Fact is, recently this ARG (Or whatever it is) has been continually dumbed down by false leads and people trying to spin their own tales into this. This is Marble Hornets, these are the tapes, this is what's in the tape, and this is the story.

Deluge was a pretty apparent example of a backwards "Alex", and it's been a reoccurring theme throughout many of the videos.

Honestly, there are a lot of false leads in this ARG...but that's kinda the point of Marble Hornets. This would be 100% less terrifying if everything was direct and out in the open. The fact that we're checking out light splotches in seemingly innocuous clips means that the purpose of the ARG is being served - one of the biggest elements of the Slender Man mythos is that he manipulates light and shadow for his purposes. The game has led us to pay close attention to where Slender Man may be, thus we have been enveloped in their world.

Maybe Slender Man did make an appearance in Entry 3, maybe he didn't. I've noticed several other clips have light splotches that aren't (but seem like) they could be the Slender Man creeping around in the background. Staging this tale of paranoia in a forest - where light and shadow are constantly mixed - seems strategic to me. It gives us glimpses of the monster without having to reveal him in every Entry, and that makes for a great horror tale.
