SWEET! LETS DO THIS THANG!

It looks to be a bus or train map. But I honestly can't see it very well.

Interestingly, the site I linked to says that they take the web trends and mark them on the Tokyo subway system map, so both ideas were correct.

So I wonder if this is Japanese based?

There's a continuous loop of sound, hidden in an .swf file linked to in the page.

All it does is play "sunshinemine.mp3"

EDIT: Compare the Pic, Bricker posed:

Looks like Ryutso and I were doing the same thing at the same time Smile. I just happened to post it to Twitter instead of checking to see if there was a thread running. I posted the same link to the zoomorama thing, and I also found this: http://bit.ly/6ZyFE.

It's a real graph, including the Top 50 most influential people/websites on the internet. And I have to be honest. Once I realized what the chart was, and looking at the sites on there, I had to ask myself:

Self, do you care if these are saved?

I'm still arguing with myself about it, but I think I'm losing the debate.

Couldn't help but overhear (overread?) the conversation Ryutso and Martin Aggett were having over Twitter (as I follow them both, haha) and since no one's posted it yet, I will, because it caught my attention:

Martin pointed out that the "sunshine mine" is an actual mine, most notable for the 1972 mining fire that left ninety-one miners dead. Apparently only two men were rescued alive after the fire itself begun: "... these efforts led to the recovery of 2 men, Tom Wilkinson and Ronald Flory, who were found to be in good condition after being trapped for 8 days."

And now I'm looking at the map and can't help but think... what if the map is all that it really appears to be? And by that, I mean it's only a metaphor for the internet and nothing more. The map plus the website with all its allusions to underground tunnels makes me wonder if this game/thing is going to revolve around pulling someone free from the series of tubes (not a dumptruck). Or something of that sort.

... b-but um, I also haven't slept in almost forty hours, so I might just be speaking entirely in crazy and don't make any sense. D:

Hope that we don't have to wait til the new year for this. If it's endorsed by Bricker, it promises to be interesting (at the least.) I'm going to go ahead and take Bricker's advice and keep a watch on this one.

Damn, I thought I got a clue when an email from someone I didn't know showed up in my inbox with a .pdf attached.

Just turned out to be a Nigeria scam email, with most of the spammy stuff in the PDF.

Oh well. Guess we really DO have to wait.

Rofl Ryutso. I'm going to kill you for spamming Twitter.
I woke up this morning to 11 text messages on my phone.
