 		So in the Entry video of Alex asking his friend to go to the car, the description of the video is "I was close by."

To me, this doesn't necessarily mean the friend going back to the car. In fact, it has a creepy ring to it, voyeuristically. I submit that maybe J is the one filming the friend going to the car?

He also says that Entry 13 has him in it, and he's watching very carefully. Maybe that means he's looking for himself filming the two?

Also, when he's scouting locations, who's to say that "location scouting with alex" doesn't mean he's just watching? Or that the person behind THAT camera, is a different person than the one running back to the car?

it's an interesting theory, but J's tweet debunks it:

But, in addition to J saying it was him going to the car, you can also clearly recognize the T shirt he's wearing from entry 13 - so there's no reason to doubt it's him.

Yeah but what I'm saying is that Alex never calls J by a name, so who are we to know it's "J"? I never said it was different people going to the car.

 		I do not know if this will help or not, but at the end of the piece are the words 'where is the ark'. Isn't the Ark believed to be on Mount Ararat?

 		I noticed Nightmare Complex's comment on totheark's Youtube page referring to the ark. Typically when I think of an ark, I think of salvation, not necessarily religious salvation, but anything that shelters and protects. Could "the ark" be referring to Alex's salvation from SM? Or J's, if you're a fan of that theory?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet either, but I've also wondered what the context of "to the ark" is. Does it mean to as in traveling to or to as in addressing to?

Well, not entirely. But I'll get to that.


There have been four Arks throughout theology.

The Ark of the Covenant, which contains the Ten Commandments. The original stone slabs bleseed by God.

Noah's Ark, a large wooden vessel housing the lives and future of the world, and nature itself.

The Ark of bulrushes, the small boat that carried baby Moses into the Pharoh's palace.

And finally, the Ark, as it is called these days. Every synagogue has an Ark, which is essentially a cabinent that houses the temple's torah.




Another issue I'm seeing a lot here, which should be cleared up: Alex is the original cameraman for most of these videos. Entry 14 is Alex's room, with Alex sleeping, and Alex bleeding. J's face has only appeared in Entry 13, and, in EXIT, where he is being filmed returning to the car. It's kind of hard for J to film himself.

All of those also agree with the definition of it being something that shelters and protects. I never argued that it couldn't be a container, just that because totheark has a history of saying things that could be taken different ways depending on the context ("remember me" for example), it could also be something else, a person perhaps. Or a group of people.

J said it was him. That's why.



I was calling J's credibility into question, like the Ark says to. *shrug*

Hah, yep. What would an ARG be without one of the big shots telling us we can't trust each other?

The only other one I did was the 48 Hours one, and that was a whole mess of nobody trusting anyone.

People seem to be pretty welcoming here, even if I propose outlandish ideas and already thought of theories. I just keep hoping that if I'm already doing work that was done that maybe someone will see something new in it anyway from me reiterating it.
