INFO/SPEC: Local Artists Show

Pure Spec:

I've seen a few mentions of the local artists show in different places. Taking a close look at the page, I noticed that the statuette that belong's to Wes is sitting on a bookshelf. The only book clearly visible on the shelf is titled Mystical and Magical Sites. The new edition of this book has a very interesting cover. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0933999445/102-8091714-4408108?vi=glance

I believe those are what we would can menhirs. Might be a simple coincidence, but I think the book may soon come into play. (I spec this with the memory of clown feet still fresh in my mind).

There are 21 pages available to browse. Anyone think there might be something useful there?

Re: Rant (Post Labeling & Location)

Hey there Jim aka mottjr, I agree with your rant

There may be times when they get hard to separate but if we all just think to ourselves, "hmm. Should I post this thought here, or here, or should I perhaps start a new thread?" these boards would be much easier to follow.

But did you notice this book was mentioned in this thread?

TROUT:Magical and Mystical Sites

You're absolutely right. That's what I get for not following my own advise. Isn't irony grand?

Beersheeba again

One famous menhir is beersheeba, in Cornwall, England. Beerhseeba is also the name of the liquor store at the aglauranj website. I have posted this info somwhere else, although not even I seem to remember where!

This is really getting confusing... I'm not sure if the main problem is that people post at the wrong place, or that the supposed content of each forum is somewhat inprecise. Would we need a clearer index structure/framework?

It's a mishmash!

Like peas mixed into your mashed potatoes. Or using chocolate sauce on ice cream, then adding sprinkles, and nuts.....Never mind me, I haven't eaten yet today.

Wow, good catch! In the Guides' e-mail, it says:

Quote:

From the midst of the menhirs
It seems the world
Was born right here
And here returns

Since this book is found behind the figurine on the "Local Artists" page, does "From the midst of the menhirs" refer to this figurine? Is this a sculpture of one of the guides, or of Digitalis, or of something else of significance?
