Man, I take a few days off from life...and come back to find out the good doctor has quit! ( Im am ambassador, BTW ) Anyone also get this email from the new director?

Hello,

As you may have already heard, Dr. Soren Ulfert, the IHC's communications director, has resigned from the IHC. We will miss him terribly; he's done a tremendous job. We wish him well in his next endeavor, whatever it may be. Meanwhile, I'll be stepping in to take his place until we can find a suitable replacement.

This is a challenging time for the IHC. On the one hand, vandals and crackpots like Charlie Frost are sounding the alarm; on the other, awareness of 2012 is seeping into pop culture, as witnessed by the upcoming novel Farewell Atlantis. Both of these damage the IHC's credibility, which in turn limits our ability to fulfill our mission.

We are confident that we can overcome any obstacle that may come our way. Still, to do that, we need your participation. The IHC's entry phase for the Leader of the Post-2012 World has ended, but the election is far from decided. We'll need your vote to help us choose a leader. Voting will begin on Oct. 1, only two weeks away.

But you can do much more than just vote. Tell your friends and family about the election. And persuade them to come to TheIHC.com to register for the Survival Lottery. It's the best thing you could do for them, and for the future.

We like the [ spoiler ] tag for puzzle solves (in case someone wants to try to solve it themselves) and tv/movie/book plots (in case someone hasn't seen it yet) :wub:

 		From his video on http://sorenulfert2012.blogspot.com, he was most certainly fired. Does this mean he won't be joining the lottery winners or does he now have the same chance that we all do on surviving this disaster?

BONUS:
I just received correspondance from Barbara Lewis-Penn in the form of a poster. I have checked it for mysterious markings and other various ciphers, but have found nothing. I suppose that it is just a little thank you for being an ambassador. Thanks IHC!!

My husband just notified me that I've received a tube from the IHC via FedEx from Barbara Penn (the new Communications Director - and apparently evil person), will check it out when I get home and report back. Assuming it's the same poster, but maybe you can post a picture to be sure?
