Mhmm, i ust am wondering how they will. I mean, i doubt they will use The Sect website. They is a good chance that sigfried will use his site but he said that he needs to find new ways to contact us..

Im thinking maybe the forums?

Hey guys! Got the PM, wanted to come over and say hola.

It seems to me the forums are in game, possibly just 'The Sect' forum, probably, since the creator discusses the ARG in another board.

Maybe we're supposed to role-play there? At least on The Sect forum, I'm guessing. They probably don't want to completely scare away their forum regulars Razz

Still, so exciting! That message was disturbing. I can't wait for the next piece!

Has anyone tried PM'ing The Sect to see if it's part of the game?

Or perhaps Facebook? I'll keep an eye on the Riese profile...

And hi, Cait!

TheSect: clarification on the UnFiction Terms of Service, since this isn't the most intuitive of rules:

Quote:

Users who are directly involved in the creation or maintenance of any Alternate Reality Game (whether in the role of Puppetmaster or in a Behind-The-Scenes position) are welcome to post as themselves in appropriate context, but not within a forum thread or section in which their game is being discussed. The only exception to this rule is when the game has reached a finite conclusion or ending, where people involved directly with the game are then welcome to discuss their game openly. If you are uncertain as to the appropriateness of a post in a thread or section devoted to your game, please contact a forum administrator or moderator. We will be happy to discuss the matter with you.

As a practical matter, there is nothing stopping you from using the information posted in this thread as you will. However, the forum is INTENDED to be an out-of-game space, because too much secrecy tends to have a chilling effect on discussions that makes it nigh impossible for new players to enter the game since players go to less public/accessible venues to conduct "safe" conversations. That's a design choice on your part, and not something this forum can control.

What IS against the rules here is creating in-game accounts and posting within the thread of your game.

Our eyes see all. Further discussion will lead to corruption by Lune.

That was creepy. This game is SO AWESOME. I remember this thing my mom did when Jamestown something or other was doing this contest, and it went on for like, months, and it was online and in a catalog and she was totally into it. This is my version of it. Bring it.

Now I kinda want to be "corrupted" by Lune, just to see what happens. And has anyone noticed the symbolism behind the names of the two deities? Lune = moon, Sonne = sun. And the moon has almost always been tied to wolves, so...

Ouch, The Sect got schooled! Razz

At least they cleared it, that was cool of them.

So back to the game! What do we do now? Were there any other clues? We didn't get a date this time. And yeah, good call about Lune and the wolf.

Agreed, real classy of them. So we dont know when the next clue is being released. We are waiting for Sigfreid to contact us and we have to think of the very few methods that it can be done with:
1) The Sect Website
2) This is not the Path Website
3) Forum

I would keep an eye there for anythign suspicous. My opinion though :]

Ah, but don't forget there's the Riese Facebook page, as well as the Riese Twitter account. Of course, Twitter's limited, so maybe that's not a viable option...

I'm not so convinced it's going to be THAT difficult, guys. I'm following the Riese twitter right now and they're blatantly stating "NEW PUZZLE OUT".
