 		Unsolved(?) stuffs
Random stuffs from pages that may or may not lead to other stuffs
So, the trailhead thread is getting unwieldy, but I feel like there's stuff that we haven't really tackled, such as....

This thread shouldn't be for new pages found, or discussion of broad questions like, "What the heck is going on?"

the red letters in the white paragraph make the sentence "Two of us"

It's called engel.mp3, but that's just what he named it. Nobody's been able to identify it so far, IIRC. Somebody played it in reverse and then posted it in the trailhead, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.

Some things we haven't discussed much:

Burgundy Fish. It seems to have been dismissed as a red herring. I'm new to these things, but I'm not sure we should be so quick to do so. I don't know, maybe it's really obvious to all of you. Also on that page, we seem to have given up on the picture.

I can't seem to find the page where he lists symptoms of eccentricity anymore, either. I must be really tired today. >.< Anyway, on that page, the source code lists traits of dissociative identity disorder. Maybe we could look into that a little more? It could just be a way to describe more about himself, which may come up later. Or it could be something more.

http://hallucinine.com/chapter1/p12.htm - why are two iterations of the word "black" the same faded grey as the "(2x9=1Cool"?

Also, on many of the pages, he creates shapes out of the words, often of numbers or letters (and sometimes something completely unintelligible).

The stuff with the phone. We've either called the right number or not. If we've called the right number, then we're clearly doing something wrong, as we haven't really received any information from the woman who answers. If we're not (as Adam has alluded to, IIRC), then we need to find out what number we're supposed to call. I think we need to find out more about http://hallucinine.com/6.htm and the dial-up directions at the top right corner (at least I think they were discovered to be dial-up commands... I'm not too much help today...).

I'm pretty sure IIRC was meant as If I Remember Correctly.

Well, Burgundy=Red and Fish=Herring. If there's more to it than that, then it probably shouldn't allude that it's the wrong path to follow!

his statement about 'most info - paying least attention' on this page (4.htm) raises a flag for me.

focusing on the 'symbol', then zooming in on it reveals what could be a distressed 'e'. Combining this 'e' with the loose elements and including the page number '4' and the top 's' gives us 'fortress'.

proof?:



granted, i could be grasping at straws here...but its something, i guess.

i tried all (top of the head) versions of this word to see if it revealed another page and got no hits.


also, as we all know, this series of letters first appear on page 3. assuming that this is indeed a distressed 'e' the word now becomes 'tres', 3 in spanish. still, it could all be coincidence.

Ok... I THINK I'm getting closer. He if definitely talking on there. I can now make out a FEW words. I'm still going to play with it some more. I there is ANYONE here who is good at this... jump in.
It is reversed, and the speed is too slow. I have made out the words "this is just the present" "and to those who come and " "?sounds like "face? "seek the answers" .... still working on it. But could use the input and help of a pro.
My son says he can hear.. "vanish without a trace" "chance to reveal" and "destroyed my ??sanity??"

I just reversed it and listened to it...
I believe its just a word-for-word reading of the text in the page 17 image.
(Now that I think of it, I think that was mentioned on here before, maybe?)

 		Your right... it is word for word. I finally got where I could hear it pretty good. I knew that one of the other pages where he called Cassandra was the same, but I just thought I'd check the others too. Just in case there was something we we're finding.

I'm sorry. I didn't remember that one. I was thinking of the one where he made the phone call. I didn't remember if all the others had been checked or not. Embarassed
I do get confused and a bit forgetful sometimes. Please don't think it's because I didn't believe her - I just didn't remember it.
