Hate to double post but whatever. Do you possibly have it in another format than mp4 or flv? For some odd reason my editor is having problems with these formats. Strange though because it worked for all teh others.

What do you want it in? I can run it through FCP into pretty much anything.

WMV? Or even just the audio. Thats all I want to mess with

I have an idea...

Notice how the code in the door is the same pattern as the letters at the end? Except for the L on the first line..

What if the L is also like a division.. and somehow we can match up the letters in that last part to the - in the code previously?

Worth a shot?

B|E
E|D
M|O
R|E

First, the dashes:

00
0E
M0
0E

00
00
00
0E

00
00
0O
RE

00
00
00
0E

----------

The 0's

BE
E-
-O
R-

BE
ED
MO
R-

BE
ED
M-
--

I dunno.. it was worth a shot..

Umm... what about possible braille?

8 dot braille.. I can't match up any letters... :\

still thinking.. maybe my attempts will give someone an idea.

Good suggestion. It makes me think that rat he ore top links in somehow, though I can't fit it into the grilles so I don't think it's the code.

This is probably nothing, but if you take the letters lined up with the dashes, they are dem e ore repeating, which is an anagram for doe re me.

Ditto. I hope it pans out.

I'll have to read up on it a little more and then try and help out.

So, according to how grilles go... the 0 should show where holes go...

00 00 00 00
0- 00 00 00
-0 00 0- 00
0- 0- -- 0-

this is repeated 3 times in sequence.

so I dunno.. I'm stumped.

It was late and I was tired.. I probably did make some mistakes lol

but reading about grilles the 0 are supposed to show where there are openings for the letters to show through.. but I dunno..

maybe we can ask the totheark for a little more or some kinda confirmation as he seems to be responsive to questions sometimes.

Okay, so. I'm going to pontificate here even though nothing is connecting in my brain, hopefully you guys can help.

So, what I'm going to call the "grilles" flash in the doorway. Wikipedia tells us that the grille is the key to the cipher.

You are all right, I think, in showing that they repeat, because they do. There are three grilles.

Here are the three, and how often they repeat:

A = 3x
oo
o-
-o
o-

B = 6x
oo
oo
oo
o-

C = 3x
oo
oo
o-
--

I believe, unless we are mistaken, or that I can not find the third, that we are in possession of two of the three ciphers that go with the grilles.

We have:

C
LO
SE
LY

and

BlE
ED
MO
RE

I'm not sure which grille goes to which, or if we have a third cipher yet.

So what do you guys think? Why do the grilles repeat like they do, 3/6/3? Why is B more often?

the only reason why i think that it should be the opposite is because there are WAY less letters that way and therefore way less repeats. i mean, with 0's as holes, we have BE 4 times in a row, plus 16 more letters. and that's for one repeat.

speaking of which, what is the significance of it repeating? i mean, 4 repeats would be enough, right? using twixbucket's terminology, we get ABCBABCB...

again, i got nothing. this one's pretty tough =/

by the way, what is a good program to use for video editing, specifically for viewing frame by frame?

also, twixbucket: your .wmv is too short, or at least for me it stops around the grid of zeros and dashes.

edit: and i forgot about
C
LO
SE
LY
this is intriguing, particularly since the first row has a MISSING letter whereas bleedmore has an extra one.
