I really think the grilles would only apply to those obviously set up for them. Though seeing how much trouble we seem to be having deciphering them, a part of me thinks that they're just a red herring. Still no reason not to explore them, though, as we're coming up with other ideas at the same time.

I spent a lot of time running into what I'm 95% sure is a dead end. However, I'll share to keep anyone else from heading down the same path.

Using the two repeating grilles of:
0000
0-00
-000
0-0-

and

0000
0000
0-00
--0-

laid over:

CBLE
LOED
SEMO
LYRE

and then flipped yields:
OSYEEOLR
ELYEMLRE

I fed these into an anagram server and eliminated a bunch of words I felt we could safely rule out being part of a message (morels, romeo, moors, ye, lo, etc.)

I've been staring at the results for awhile and am not having much luck creating a message.

However, I noticed a lot of homonyms that might be used to make sentences. For example "Eye Em Lyre" or "My Roll Lyes."

If anyone sees any combos in those results, speak up. And if anyone wants to try rotating the grilles and repeating this, the resulting letter strings to feed into the anagram server are:

BELECLDMCBEOCLEE
LELEBLELEDEECLOL
EEORCSELCSMYEMOE

He's fake. I messaged totheark on youtube, and he confirmed that this is not him. Here's the full message, in case there's anything of importance.

Also: I began lurking here and following this ARG just hours after entry 14 was posted. Glad to finally have joined! Very Happy

Edit: Sorry, forgot to add the message.

"There is someone on unforum.net using the same name you use, "totheark." Currently, he's only a guest, and has not registered on the website. Is this you?"

And his response:

"it is not"

The subject I used was "Unforum" and it seems that he has totally learned how to use that spacebar.. *tearing up* They grow up so fast...

Edit 2: He actually responded really fast. I messaged him and got his response in about ten to fifteen minutes. I'm guessing that means that he's on right now, which may mean that it's a decent hour, wherever he (or it) is.

That's funny because I messaged J like a week ago and haven't heard back. Sad

Anyhow... to the ark... deluge... rain in all the videos. Impurity. "No human can be trusted?"

Sounds like sme crazy, Biblical flood stuff. Definitely a pattern.

The water in every video has to be something, though it doesnt have to only relate to the ark. Heck, maybe totheark doesn't mean Noah's ark, but the Ark of the Covenant. You know, ten commandments and all that.

It could be both, for that matter. I think that the rain/water is going to be an important element.

Sorry I know I'm not helping much but I'm super new to these things, but if I remember correctly the current theory on Deluge is that it's Morse code but it translated into jibberish. Could maybe fit with the Grilles as well as the slashing code that spelled out LOK. So we have

L
o
k

C
lo
se
ly

For the morse code we have (Going by Nonmetals Nerd interpretation in the deluge thread)

GGZZ

and

TKNGWI

and a string of yet unidentified letters.\

The Video Operator also lists all those zeros wich was oddly enough interprited as

z e r o

Exit also lists the words

"Rat" "He" "Ore" and "Top"

anagramed for The Operator but could also fit our Grille theory. The last frame not shown on youtube also shows

WHEREIS THEARK which if going by grilles would mean it came out something like

W T
H H
E E
R A
E R
I K
S

I can't figure out how to work these grille things so I'm just dumping everything into an anagram finder video by video and seeing what comes up.

As I recall, Alex = Alex Kralie?

Middle name Roger, Rupert, Robert, Reginald?

That's interesting, I never thought of that.
