I bet we'll find that out eventually. I'm excited to talk to him tomorrow now.

Also, gotta wonder how long the Sect will take this. They're awfully quiet on their end. I suppose he hasn't really done anything yet for them to go on the offensive, since they are this huge organization apparently.

I know. I'm excited too, though I probably won't be on for long- I've got an eye appointment at 12:30, and I have to take the bus to get there.

Remember, we've got that list of things to ask him about:

  • Relics
  • Magisters
  • Indoctrination

Anyone have anything else to add to the list?

I just had a brilliant idea, Cait. I'm going to put posters up at my community college. We're allowed to do that, so hopefully, it'll help spread the word.

Is there anything you think i can lead onto The Sect without giving them any real information about Siegfried or the group? D oyu think it would be okay to give them the transmission that i got? It dosent really have much evidence in it..

BTW: so in on the street team! anyone round the baltimore region?

I jsut feel like we are missing a second aspect of the game by only focusing on Siegfreid. Sure The Sect is the evil group but dynamic ARGs allow you to play with both the enemies and the heroes. Maybe I will wait a bit but I think I may release a little more to The Sect to keep them on their toes and see what they can "offer".

So any clue on what we should be doing with a poster? Im trying to think of something that will immerse people into the game. And somewhere that will allow new members to get causht up. Wikipedia gives a vague version, and reading 20 pages of this forum will bore newbies to tears.

Louis--I was thinking it could be fun to post some "sightings" on the Sect forum, just for fun, like "I saw a white wolf today!" Maybe that would be a better alternative than ratting out Seig, while still playing the game.

I dunno, I don't mind that the Sect hasn't reached out to us THAT much. I mean, it wouldn't feel like a huge and all-powerful organization if it was hanging out on the forums all the time. At least Seigfried is trying to rally people to the cause, so it makes sense he'd take the grassroots approach.

Though, I really wanna ask Seigfried why they haven't taken down his hidden message off their website. That seems weird to me.

It feels like these past two weeks have been setting up the story. Pretty soon we're going to have to start finding stuff out about the Sect. The stuff they don't want us to know.

Kiri- I like your idea. It gives the Non-resistance players something to do/see, and we could learn more about how the Sect reacts to such things.

I don't know- I can only assume so, since there seems to be only about ten or so of us over here working on the resistance puzzles and whatnot, and there are far more than that number over at the official forums.

I always took that as they jsut havent been able to solve the puzzles. lol. you may be right though.

So here is what i am planning:
Quote:
Today I was tuning into broadcasts and I heard the following but was unable to trace it:

Quote:
Thank you for believeing in me enough to come this far. Perhaps you can trust me, all i can tell you is because of The Sect ive lost everything. I fight cause there is nothing left to lose, ... will stop this from happening to one of you... I went to all the monasatries demanding answers but they plead ignorance. For over two years ive been searching for trying to get enough information.. Ive learned alot more. And thats when I realized .. We got to let the people of the world know of the hideous atroscities they have committed, the lives they ruined. One by one we will turn against The Sect. Without the help and support The Sect will fall and then maybe i will learn the truth about my wife. So I ask you, can you trust there is hope for a world without The Sect?

Some of the words were garbled and I was not able to hear them but I am quite sure this is the work of Siegfreid. It seems as though he is gathering followers to rebel. I am sorry I cant be any more help than that. I will keep you posted on any further developments.

Yours in Faith,
Louis Contaldi

I cut out all parts about his wife so they cant really track him and I basically stated only htings they already know. heretic, gathering followers, etc etc. :]

Completley harmless evidence that will hopefully gain us some trust

Eh, maybe cut out a bit more. A few lines should probably be fine, like this:

"Thank you for believing in me... because of the Sect I've lost everything...One by one we will turn against the Sect...A world without the Sect?"

Vague, I know, but it should be enough to get a response.

There's a reference to his wife in one of the last sentences. And I agree with Pretz. Maybe you could make it seem a little more rugged? Trail off and start abruptly in a few of the areas, making it seem like it was really hard to hear him?
