[META] THANKS!! KUDOS!! ETC!! - appreciations for the axons

Not being a Mod I can't start a thread in the axon section of the board here, and it wouldn't do for one of them to start one for me, so I post this here.

Activating the axons and obtaining the .wav files was something I had to observe from afar. Knowing the quality of the people we have here, I never doubted that it would get done and get done well.

Still, I appreciate the work done by everyone on what was a complex task. I can't list everyone by name--at least not yet as it isn't over--but I think it's time to recognize at least generally those who participated. (Well, I can specifically point to brienigma who gets thanks for hosting the wiki-- thanks brian!)

Thanks to everyone: the mapmakers, the spreadsheet updaters, the axon activators who faithfully went to a location to wait for a phone to ring and reported back to us, the text transcribers, the moderators for keeping the board functioning throughout, the ops in #beekeepers, and, of course, the site admins here for creating a space where we can play the game.

Special recognition goes to the doubters who kept us honest in solving the coordinates.

Great work everyone!!

I, of course, have to tip my hat to those who had axons nearby. I was without a nearby axon, and couldn't pull my weight in the Axon Day. Still, I was delighted at the fun I had listening to and stitching together the .wav files. Thanks especially to Dorkmaster and the Phil (or is it just Phil?).
