Thanks to the participation of an international team of volunteers, Alfa-Tsentr has eliminated a group of terrorists who waged a campaign of armed violence, cyber attacks, and malicious disinformation. Their leader has been eliminated and all those unwilling to surrender have either been killed or captured. For a brief time, the terrorists were able to use the internet to recruit new members and to disseminate their nihilistic ideology. In rare circumstances, they were even able to entice weak-minded Alfa-Tsentr operatives and contracted workers into betraying basic values of security and human decency. A dissolute former PR speechwriter and an opportunistic advertising lackey were among those who offered material support to the terrorists. The speechwriter, one Alexander Dubrovin, went as far as supplying terrorist elements in Chile with sensitive operational codes for Alfa-Tsentr computers. Fortunately our loyal agents were able to intercept these plans and substitute decoy versions of the codes. Thinking they had crippled our security systems, the terrorists were drawn into a trap and thus destroyed.

I would like to take this opportunity to address two gross misconceptions:

I.) It has come to our attention that surveillance video from one of our secure facilities was leaked to the public by the terrorists and their collaborators as part of their disinformation campaign. Some concerned viewers of the footage believed they were witnessing an "innocent girl being mistreated or tortured." This characterization of events could not be further from the truth. In fact, the subject in question was detained by Alfa-Tsentr at the request of the Russian government as well as her guardians who reported the young woman as being a victim of brainwashing by the terrorist cult. The location was not a torture chamber, but a rehabilitation room. The detainee was being taken through the standard de-programming process. This process involves multiple components: Isolation, Medication, Attention Pattern Reestablishment, Psychological Counseling (which was falsely portrayed by terrorist sympathizers as interrogations), and Self Examination in which the detainee is required to write and rewrite the history of their involvement with a cult organization as part of an introspective adjustment phase. Once the context of this footage is known, one realizes that the dissemination of this surveillance video was not only a violation of Alfa-Tsentr's security; it was a violation of the detainee's rights.

II.) Intercepted communications between suspected terrorist operatives and Alexander Dubrovin had led our company to investigate a site in Curragh, Ireland where there was purportedly found some evidence relating to multiple global coordinates. It is since been determined that this information was yet another disinformation plant by the terrorists designed to distract investigations away from actual target evidence and assets. The noteworthy former owner of the property, famed German commando, Otto Skorzeny in fact bears no connection to either the terrorists or our investigation. We ask that all further investigations and inquiries into this matter cease immediately for the interests of all those involved.

While the terrorists no longer pose any immediate danger, their sympathizers have shown signs of improved organization, discipline, and communications. We ask that all those who share our concerns about this organization and its nihilistic ideology monitor these groups in the weeks and months ahead.

Since all immediate objectives have been successfully completed, Alfa-Tsentr will at this time cease formal communication with the public. Our PR affiliate, Men of Taste, will once more be delegated all such responsibilities. Under the prudent leadership of their new Coordinator, Ivan Grossman, Men of Taste will post updates on new developments to its websites, including announcements regarding terrorist threat levels.

To those who worked to foil the terrorist plot, we offer our profound gratitude. It is because of your dedication that our esteemed institutions and commerce will be preserved.

The events of the past few weeks have shown that there are still people principled enough not to be seduced by false blandishments and propaganda. Those who stood tall in the face of evil have shown that there are still a few brave individuals willing to risk their lives to protect the many. Our agents in the field live with that urgent knowledge�that all which is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Today, good men have acted, and evil has been vanquished. The mission has been accomplished.

These are pretty much the only official updates we have. The rest is all just speculation, though there seems plenty to research in the meantime.
