[OT/HUMOUR] Dutch Axon Goes Hot

Ok, by popular demand, I'll post this in a public place too...

Seeing all these axon reports coming in and sitting here the 24th, all alone in rainy Europe, my only duty being moderating these boards, I got pretty jealous of you fortunate Americans chasing phonecalls, so I thought I'd visit my very own Dutch axon and report on that... Wink

Brilliant! I was in the Netherlands on the 24th too, but not quite as inspired as that Wink

Maybe this is the "dumb American" in me talking, but the pay phones there look rad. I'd gladly trade Axon-hunting for neat-o colorful payphones.

Yeah, Dutch payphones are great.

OK, so I have to share this. Like many others, I'm sure, I'm in some strange hyper-aware state at the moment where anything to do with bees just jumps right out at me, wherever I am. Even honey, hives and swarms, just words and things I pass by can just fire off axons in my brain going "bee alert! bee alert!". It's quite annoying but as soon as I explain to myself it's just a passing coincidence then it goes away again, so it's not exactly crippling.

Imagine, then, if you will, the complete brain-melt I got when visiting the Netherlands in the run-up to "Wide Awake and Physical", and seeing "Let Op!" *every single place* I went. Especially on the trams in Amsterdam.

AARGH!

Yeah, I know. (I remember reading about it ages ago when it was added to the forum name!) It's just, you killed my brain!

Worshippy

(Of course, you can tell it's fake, 'cos otherwise the Operator's number would've been 777. Or 333. Or 343. Or...uh...which way to that emergency medical team?)
