I may be wrong but it seems to me that both songs have to do with someone killing their lover to keep them beautiful and innocent... it makes sense with the story line that we have so far... the killer made comments about her beauty and her innocence in his journals... I have been trying different key phrases from both songs to find another page but no luck yet

Good point, Cooter. Another thing I noticed - both videos take place near water, and both feature some sort of death on or near water. All pretty strong parallels. That's about all I have so far.

Off to reality for a bit. Back tonight. Hoping for another clue or two....

I just feel like she's giving us clues to find out about the past first until we can move forward..I honestly think there's a reason to why all the girls in the "voices video are just pictures of death except the one blindfolded girl. I mean think about it we got newspapers saying girl goes missing but we haven't got any yet that says girl found dead

but just because they haven't been found doesn't mean they're not dead. I mean, Kuroi's dead-ish, but we haven't had a report of her death, we haven't got a report about Moira either. And if all those voices in the video are seperate ones then we haven't had reports about a bunch of the other girls either.

I think, according to the current date and the dates of the previous kidnaps, a kidnap has occurred last month if the kidnapper is still at large and doing his thing once a year on the same date. We are looking for a girl with a butterfly tattoo who was kidnapped in New Jersey. We need to find out more about the kidnapper, who he is, where he is, what he's doing.

The music videos are too generic to lead to any clues I think, I'm sure we've tried plenty of keywords and they're not working. I think they are just to depict the nature of the story, i.e. the tale of Elisa Day in the Wild Roses song.

But unless there's something we're missing, we can't move on without Kuroi's input or the input of another character.

I'm stumped. Rock salt....Plexiglas? Other than building some sort of prison or something, I really can't figure out what good that would do him. Been lurking on facebook hoping she'll say something. So far, no bites. Rock Salt....won't that help with body decomposition (my lovely wife's input).

Do we have an IRC channel yet?

yes, but within the game it appears as if the kidnapper is doing this on the same date every year. If the in-game character is still kidnapping other characters, then we are most likely trying to save a recent victim of kidnap, i.e., the character/characters that may have been kidnapped recently. Kuroi keeps saying she's trying to save multiple people, which makes me assume there have been more in-game kidnaps.

According to the newspaper clippings, the kidnaps took place in Hawthorne, New Jersey, which is likely where the kidnapper character lives. If we are looking for more newspaper clippings it is likely that they will be of more kidnaps and I'm suggesting some points which may be pertinent to the story of the game.

I'm assuming Kuroi wants us to save victims who are not yet dead but soon will be, which I also assume means that they must have been kidnapped recently due to the methodical nature of the previous kidnappings.

And also, remember the journals are old, so they pertain to Moira. Moira may well be dead but we just haven't been explicitly told that as of yet. So If the flower will soon die, we need to find as much about the kidnapper as we can so we can stop him before winter comes. Get me?

And what does the butterfly display have to do with the Rock Salt?

as far as I'm aware, you wouldn't use rock salt for preserving insects, it would be too abrasive. Don't you need formldehyde? I figured the plexiglass was to make a coffin and the rock salt was to preserve his wife's body.

EDIT: Quick bit of research shows you pin a butterfly and freeze it, leave it to set and that does the job apparantly.

No IRC yet by the way, feel free to create and post it up.

Also, just noticed that te kidnaps correlate with the date of the first excorcism, september 4th.
