No in-game answer, but the obvious practical answer:

Perhaps she does. Thing is, though, in her 'reality', Halo doesn't exist. If she punches in Covenant in Google, she'd simply find religous websites.

For Dana and her reality, there is no knowledge of the Bungie mythos, and with it, no way to solve her troubles properly.

Thats where we come in. Here to Wait, Receive, Interpret, and Connect. Armed with knowledge of the Bungie mythos, we learn to understand her situation.

We are Dana's deus ex machina. We come from a reality where we know what the hell is going on, moments after whatever happened began.

When her troubles are ended, and whatever has ruined her website have left, we'll be done. To us, that is. To her, we'll dissapear as quickly as we arrived.

Does any other race pour over our history? Is there a Earth Story Page somewhere on some reality's internet? Depends.
