Where it says "thedate" and "thetime"; those have changed. Before it was "itsin" and "thecss" before. That's how we were directed to look for the date and time in the CSS in the first place.

I've tried entering the date and time in all different combos, but no luck. Anyone else have any ideas?

 		There's another date in the file name of the background (100109.gif). Haven't made any progress with it yet, though.

That's the date the website was created.

 		Hmm... well, we have a fairly explicit pointer telling us that we need to enter the date as the user name and the time as the password, and another one telling us that they're in the CSS, but those don't work. I'm stumped.

What has been discovered so far:

So far we have found that if you brighten the page you can see a crudely drawn face with some type of symbol inside the eye. It also looks like the image was taken through the peephole of a door.

We have found two text boxes, one for a username and one for a password, and a little circle which serves as an enter button. If you click the circle you will see a blank page with the text "you can't fool me".

If you view the source of the main page you can see this:

We can see the hidden message: It's in the CSS. This is most probably talking about the username and password as it is in the code for the text boxes. We can also see from the source that the CSS is called "imbeingfollowed.com/helpme.css"

By looking at the CSS we can notice a few interesting things. First of all the name of the image on the main page is called 100109.gif,
which is a date. 1st of October 2009. By looking at the whois records I found that the website was created on that exact date. Then we see something that looks out of place in the code. no-repeat;}.1004. The .1004 seems to be out of place in the code, as it seems it would serve no purpose. But it could possibly mean a date, 4th of October. And next to that we see { 18:28; }. Possibly the army time for 6:28pm. I'm guessing this is when the next clue will be given.

This is pretty much all I have found so far.

Also attached is a link to a fiddled with copy of the background, enhanced to bring out the figures.

Hey you copied most of that word for word from me. I created that thread on /x/ under the name OldSchoolNigger. But that's alright I was hoping someone would make a topic on unForums soon. We should make heaps more progress here anyway.

 		Well, I was the one who made the initial thread... Nice to see it not forgotten, even if there may not have been any solid progress.

I've mentioned a couple times where I'd picked it up from, and I'm hoping offsite links will work:

Says he stumbled across it "a few days ago" when there were no relevant google results (once posted, the 4chan thread and later this thread came up as top results for "imbeingfollowed.com") and a whois showed that the site didn't exist until the day before he made that post. It's quite likely this guy is involved in some way. I don't have a somethingawful account to look into it further, and I doubt it will be very useful. I think if nothing's developed yet, it's a matter of waiting until tonight.

 		The site just updated as we expected. The source shows much less info, and the background has been updated.

It shows a series of upside down hieroglyphics.

 		The background has changed yet again. It has been flipped upright, made clearer for no apprent reason. Perhaps the PM is watching on and decided to cut us some slack?
