Yes. when you view the history of the page changes, you can see when and who.. if it's anonymous, it will show the IP address, sans the last digits. I'm not sure if that is viewable by the admin of the board..

But, I honestly think it's unlikely the PM as most PMs, while they visit the wiki, they won't actually change any information as a wiki, like a forum, is usually off limits as far as IG goes.

Doing so would really cause more confusion and provide the wiki are a way of communication between the audience and the PM.. and would destroy the importance of other correspondence, such as the website, or networking sites used.

Sounds like someone was just trying to make it more interesting to look at by placing it in the decoder/encoder. Which is fine and may have been something that was thought of a creative way to keep the theme in the wiki, but not a good idea for those players using it to either catch up or understand where we are in the story.

Sorry all, I should have gotten back to you all sooner. Have been really busy at work. (I know, no excuse!)

The wiki now has permissions & a password in order to make any changes. This should reduce the risk of having that happen again. As it stands, you have to be a member of the wiki & have the password in order to make any changes. (Not even being a member of Wikidot will work.)

On a related note... this just happened to my employer. Our entry on Wikipedia was removed after i had made some changes. Taken us several days to fix. PITA!

I am not sure if the attack is from the PM. It sounds more like a GameJack trying to mess with the game. Hopefully this doesn't happen again.

PM me or hit me up on ICQ if you want to join the wiki. Hopefully CM will be able to administer the site as well.

Does anyone get the feeling that we're overlooking anything? Do you think there are any puzzles/clues hidden and we just haven't found them yet? Or do you think this is just a matter of waiting for the story to just keep getting fed to us?
What about the thought that maybe 11/11/09 will actually be the real beginning of something bigger with this?

meta, for the most part, means anything that is not 'in game'.

something that can be considered 'meta' could be an issue with the game itself or maybe a discussion about the designer of the game, for instance.

this discussion is, essentially, meta.

 		Well, I'm choosing to be optimistic for the moment. Maybe he's taken the site down to re-make it for a phase 2? Or maybe he's already given us the needed information to move on, and we just haven't discovered it? So maybe that means to look at what we already have? I really have no idea.
It seems like if he didn't pay his hosting bill, we would get a page for the hosting provider/service.. (which would be the Hurricane Electric page).
Also, the domain is still good for a while..

What are the legitimate reasons that we should be getting a "real" 404? I think the 404 is pm created.... or maybe his hosts servers are down at the moment.

If you go to the website for the host, (www.he.net), and purposely type a bad url, the 404 page is NOT the same as what we see on hallucinine's site. The error page on there is like it USED TO BE. So, this leads me to believe this 404 is definitely pm created. -- Just not sure why. Hopefully our pm is re-designing the site or something.

Hallucinine – Hey, What Can I Say…Patience is a Virtue I’m Still Working On
I am really starting to think that some or all of the pages could be similar to puzzle pieces. But, jjocke's latest find also makes me think that we may not have all of the pieces yet. Since the letters could be veil, live, vile, or even just part of another word: it would seem that we need a context to interpret our clue.

Hallucinine has proved to be addictive – certainly so, if it has brought me out of the lurking shadows…

What gets me the most is the pressure to be patient with a few of our 9 week deadline already past. I saw that Caseys_Mom has tried to nudge Uno a little…. Any bites? Anyone?
