I read the entire trailhead; 60+ pages when I joined, and everything since.

Guys... I just realised. The ark is Noah's, not Moses'. Why do we say that totheark has to do something with Moses? I mean they do mention him in passage 79 of the Qur'an, but shouldn't we be looking for Noah as well?

Oh and guys, I can speak and read Arabic, so if you need some accurately translated passages, just say Wink

Well, because Noah's Ark isn't the only Ark, y'know.

Moses arrives on an ark in the Pharoh's palace, as a child.

tl:dr alert

just wanted to say something about the whole alex filming J debate. Alex saw SM up close, and it is generally accepted that this is pretty early in his trials and tribulations with the hombre. If Alex wasn't at least partially aware of the totality of the situation, J would have noticed a bit of paranoia or insanity in Alex after returning from the car. Because J mentioned that he had a hard time remembering that particular day, it seems likely that Alex wasn't entirely traumatized by the events that transpired in between J going to get the tapes/batteries and him returning. Therefore, I think its plausible that Alex filmed J getting the tapes (though it is unlikely). If Alex was able to behave normally when J returned, even after encountering Slender Man, then perhaps we don't know what we think we know. What is more plausible is that this whole thing is fucked, and the idea that Alex was being stalked at the beginning of MH seems more and more likely. Every narrator and character is unreliable at this point. Alex may have been affected by SM before the idea for this movie even came into his head, SH could have been present this whole time, totheark may be Matt from beyond the grave. What I think is important is that perhaps we need to take a step back; realize that no one has discovered any relevant info, and take a good hard look at what we have so far.

I do agree with most of what you said, asyouwere. We all need to step back, look at this thing as if for the first time, and see what CONCRETE evidence we are sure of, and go from there. None of that grille stuff, or Tim's body language, just the bare facts as they are presented.

Just reposting to make sure everyone gets a good glimpse of it:

Well, I'm actually logged in, and this time, for a reason:

I've come to the conclusion that, perhaps the code featured in this may have something to do with the music and film-reel sound.

Specifically, a Player Piano.

They use papers like this:

To program the piano's music. The holes indicate where the hammers will strike, and when.

Also, a program itself may be a reference to the "programs" handed out at musical events to dictate which songs will be played, and in what order.

Following this theme, the film-reel styled clicking noise, the repeating music, the code, and the wavering "S" could be something like a G-Cleft or whatsuch.

Thoughts?

That's not a crazy idea at all!

(Taken from the Program thread, thanks to... oh hey it's you! Very Happy)

Since there aren't five lines, I don't think this is sheet music. Also, so far, this turned out to be "YAGA" x3. Since Y isn't a note, we can't function on that system either. I'll try to look into it now. I'm a pianist, so maybe I can be of assistance. Any ideas as to how we can transform these into notes?

My guess is that, the dashes are the lines. A single dash with a zero above and below it equals a shorter note, while the more dashes touching vertically equals the length of the note.

I'll look into this.

EDIT: It would be great if someone who knew Piano whatnots...

Well, that's my idea. Just, take the codes side-by-side and split them into rows of five, I guess. I dunno. Figure it out or something.

I thought of the line thing, but as I said above, sheet music has 5 lines/clef. I'll try it with the first four lines of each clef, then the last four and report if the music makes any sense at all.

Hey guys, new to this kind of stuff, but its fun! The dog seems to be glossed over in the vids despite:

* When Alex first sees what we assume was SM, he has his dog Rocky with him; which goes berserk according to the account. Rocky is never spoken off again; did something happen to him? He after all was the only other witness to the original sighting.

* J says the dog went with Alex "as far as he knows", which basically means he has no idea what became of the dog.

* In Entry #9 Alex seems upset for different reasons at the presence of the girl's dog

* Is it possible that in Entry #4 the reason Alex is at that location at dark because he is looking for the missing Rocky?

* Entry #15, Tim says someone was leaving dead animals (Rocky?) at Alex's. J tries to get Tim to specify "cats or dogs?"

* Entry #14, did Alex kill his dog?

sorry if this doesn't amount to anything, but its fun to wonder.

That tidbit you said about entry 15, cas, does seem to fit with what Tim said. When he said, "What do you mean pets?" It's worth looking into.
