I wouldn't say it's a BDSM show considering his faith and thinking a tattoo is a sin. It is things of religious significance, and I'm guessing it's not JUST torture devices but I'm sure that's included, hence the strappado. It must be some kind of showcase but is it something we need to search for or will more clues be given as to how to stop him?

Ok, I have been going through all the pages again and looking for details. I've noticed a couple things and had some thoughts that may or may not be related. Pardon if this is rambling, I'm not sure how to put all these things together yet:

* I think the numbers 4 and 5 might play into something. In some of the journals the numbers 4 or 5 appear to be typeset as opposed to hand written.
journals5.php: numbers 4 and 5 are typeset.
oldjournals5.php: number 4 is typeset.
oldjournals6.php: number 4 is typeset.
oldjournals11.php: number 4 is typeset.
Also on journals6.php it says "How Many" which might be important. There are 4 photos and 5 girls. Edit: I am doubting this now. I think that it's just a quirk of the font used that the 4 and the 5 happen to look very different from the rest of the letters/numbers.

* journals4.php and journals5.php are labelled with what appear to be page numbers (1 and 2 respectively) in the bottom right corner. None of the other journal pages or old journal pages are numbered like this.

* He seems to always take the girls on September 4th around 9:40 which is the anniversary of when he first performed the excorcism ritual on Moira. However, if the Missing poster is of the most recent girl which is still alive he could have taken her as early as September 1st (which is when she was last seen.)

* Moira was born in 1978 (according to the plaque below her body on jcmh.php), so she would have been about 21-22 when she was killed. She was either married to or knew Jerry for 5 years previous to this (in oldjournal.php he says he yelled at her for the first time in 5 years.) So they may have met in 1994/1995 when she was 16-17. How old is Jerry?

* As for the number of deaths there have been 11 if you include Moira and Daisy, with one girl who is currently believed to be alive (who would be #12.) That is assuming that the two girls in 2001 were the first victims after Moira and Daisy, and that there has been only one victim a year after that.

* He met Moira in Lincoln Park, NJ (he left the body where he met her and that is where it was found.) Possibly in a park in Lincoln Park? He probably either lived, worked, or went to school close to there (Kuroi mentioned going to different schools in one of her conversations, but also seemed to indicate that the was working at the time?)

* His work and home are a good question for finding him and the girl. When he lived with Moira he had a 1 hour commute home. After her body was discovered in Lincoln Park he moved "closer to work". Wherever he lived/worked in 2001 took him through Hawthorne, NJ on his commute, as that's where he met his first two victims after Moira. (I was thinking maybe he worked at the Salem Witch Museum in Salem, MA but that is over 3 hours away so it isn't likely.)

* There is some intentional or unintentional errors with the dates of the first several oldjournal entries. They are all from August to November of 2000, but occur before Moira's body was found. The date her body was found is almost certainly May 4th, 2000 so I am guessing that those earlier journal entries should be 1999?

* jaeger138: You had asked why Tommy was only sentenced recently, but what made you think it was recent? I don't think the Radio video's announcement said a date (only a time, 2:40) and I didn't see anything elsewhere about when he was sentenced. It could be an old recording? Or it could be that it just took a long time for the trial (I think some trials can take years to be finished.)

For whatever reason i think that when he is saying Lake is referring to Lake Hopatcong.. but i dont know why i get that impression to be honest.

at the moment i am breaking down EVERY page to try and understand what we are missing. I will post it here when i am done.

So im having a long chat with Kuroi and i will put the highlights up after and the whole chat tomorrow.

EDIT: ... okay, too many highlights.it covers Jerry's job, our mission, and the relationship that moira had with both jerry and tommy. I will post the whole chat tomorrow when i can get on antiehr computer.

Small problem. Facebook deletes messages... i normally keep mine small but this one was different. I will highlight for you.

Jerry is a curator/collector of things related to "The carrying on of Gods mission"
Moira met Jerry when they were young and Jerry was very very hansome.
Moira felt blessed that she was chosen by him.
They got married at the age of 16 i believe and lived happy at first.
Moira was to be a house wife and could not work or finish her education.
Moira saw less and less of Jerry and Jerry became cold refusing to lay with ehr saying "lust" is a sin.
She met Tommy in a food market and he was a free spirit.
They fell for each other, slept with each other, and then came the morning sicknesss.
She got the sonogram of Daisy
She didnt know how to possibly tell Jerry.. but she was going to leave them
WE must find a place where we can hold this collection of wome that he keeps.

So are you saying she said that WE, as in us unfictologists need to find a place to display the bodies? Is that a clue or just a request?

OK, I usually try and wait a little after Kuroi's finished typing to reply but I can see it's a bit confusing for everyone when these convos are posted, i'll do my best to play nice.

Jerry is still young so it's hard to see him being a professor. Kuroi outright told me he gets paid to travel around and display his collection. I think we should ask what else is in the collection as we only really know of the strappado if I haven't missed anything. Could help us learn more about him.

Lou, if you don't exit the conversation before you log out of FB it should save the convo, might make it easier for you.
