Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of sense with it.

The blocks of slashes in Regards doesn't really lend itself to a whole lot interpretation. There's a 12x12, 15x15, 12x12, all in the same direction. 144, 225, 144. Besides, I'm pretty sure someone already found the significance to that (Blinking in morse code that comes out to "Listen", right?)

The subtitles themselves: I guess Regards would turn into 8, Operator into 15yes15, and Deluge 3.

Switch them to the alphabet. You get H, OyesO, C. Only 3 videos that utilize that.

I mean, there could be some significance in there. My observations tell me that if this was the case, it shows a sophistication in communications. Going from Bronze Age to binary and morse code and God knows what else. 'course, in Operator, it's good old English, sooo... I really got nothing.

Now that another segment of useless knowledge is out of the way, the J in the morse code seems to be a brilliant breakthrough.

In hindsight, my Player Piano theory would have been a dead-end-if-true; It would've been impossible to deduce what notes were used, since there are 88 seperate sounds possible. I'm glad we've made such headway.

One thing that may or may not have been addressed in the past 75 pages of posting has been making me think. Aside from their mutual involvement in MH, what is Alex and Brian's relationship?

I feel like totheark must have had some sort of significant part in MH in order to have gained access to footage and audio that J. did not.

When I think about it there are several key players in MH's production: Alex, Tim, Brian, Sarah, and J. Obviously J. is accounted for, and Alex seems a highly plausible candidate for TTA's identity. Since Entry 9 we haven't seen much of Sarah. With Brian's disappearance and involvement in MH, it gives him the opportunity to do a lot of things (including post data he had removed from the raw material).

All speculation of course, and me organizing my thoughts. Tell me that 5 hours of SM reading hasn't just turned my brain to mush.

Right. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, just trying to play devil's advocate to the "alex is totheark" camp. I'm not saying he isn't, I'm not saying Brian is, just that my speculation is that unless there is some unnamed player serving a major role in MH that J. hasn't introduced us to, I think it's likely that we may already know who totheark is.
