The story inside the story

I asked J about it, who responded rather lacklusterly that it was a movie about Brian, who is returning to his home and finding everything different.

Doesn't sound like it was a good movie at all, and J thought it would be a waste of my time to inquire about it lol.

That said, if there's anything you can find that we haven't, please please please post it up to the wiki.

Could the film itself possibly be about Slender Man? Like a horror movie of some sorts, and they used Slender Man's likeness or something as the villain and that's why it pissed him off.

You know, Alex was researching the character for the film or something, and actually found him, etc.

Characters:
- Brian (seen in Entry 7, referred to in Entries 5 and 9) - When Brian went to college, he dumped his girlfriend Sarah and cut ties with his friends. Now that he's back, he feels like his home town is no longer his "home". Reflects on the state of his life a lot, feels depressed.
- Tim (seen in Entry 9, referred to in Entries 5, 7, 12) - Feels abandoned by Brian, though he is there to listen to him when he realizes his life has changed. He smokes.
- Sarah (seen in Entry 9, referred to in Entries 5 and 7) - Brian's ex. She is a slacker who doesn't try to affect the flow of her life. Is a hunter (possibly professional) for some reason.
- Mike (referred to in Entry 5) - Dated Sarah after Brian left for college. They break up at some point, and he tries to win her back.

Plot:
Tim, Sarah, and Brian were tight friends in a small town high school. When Brian moves to the city to attend college, this circle is broken and he breaks up with his girlfriend Sarah. Though Brian should be enjoying his new life, memories of what he's left behind haunt him.
Eventually, Brian returns home, only to find out his girlfriend was seeing someone else during his absence. Brian must mend the relationships he has broken and regain the trust of those closest to him.

I realized I misheard Alex: "Mike" is not a character in MH. He mumbles "hm like" which sounds like Mike.
That means there are only three characters in this movie, and one has already been interviewed. Two to go...

Could Alex's film be a parallel to the real life events that are happening?

J considers it just pretension, but maybe it's a way to symbolize what's happening around Alex. The guy in the movie leaves home, cuts all ties, and when he comes back, everything's changed, right?

Well, we know Alex left home and cut all ties. All that's left of him are the tapes.

How do we know that Alex won't return when everything's changed? Of course, the way things are going, it won't be changed for the better.

Just sort of throwing it out there, I don't know if it's all that plausible.

plot reminds me a bit of the great gatsby intro [gotsta read it for school {bleh}]
