Is stigma supposed to be a letter? I thought it was only word, and a brief internet search seems to comply. I think you left a step out.

No, it's a character. It was referenced earlier: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Stigma_uc_lc.svg

Thanks! It's hard to search for this. One interesting entry I found talks about a stigma appearing in biblical text.
Quote:
The stigma symbol (along with the c=Chi=600 and x=Xi=60) is found in
Revelation 13:18 [=666] apparently in Papyrus 47

http://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/b-greek/2002-November/023312.html

Not sure how reliable the source is though.

I know I'm probably late to the party figuring out what the binary clock was supposed to be doing, but I wanted to post it in full:

The right column of zeroes ticks up from 1-9, then clears out with all zeroes when ten is expected. On that expected ten, the left column ticks up to 1. It would appear that columns of zeroes and dashes are to be considered a single digit in a base 10 number.

Using this method of translation on the Program code produces four numbers: 25 1 13 1. Alphanumerically, these translate to Y A M A.

Yama is actually a significant word to obtain. Yama a Hindu and Buddhist deity who is considered the ruler of the departed. He pulls souls out of corpses with a loop of rope and sends them to the version of Hell he has determined they deserve. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yama

There have been several references to soul snatchers and such so far. I think this idea might have some merit.

That's pretty cool. I've been trying to think of ways one could decode those letters or numbers because I didn't think YAMA had anything to do with anything. I'd be more inclined to think that's what totheark meant if the Yama from the pictures resembled SM in some way.

If you subtract the two 1s from 13 you get my birthday, but that's about it. =P

Could the S stand for "Stigmata?"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stigmata

They're basically wounds on the body that appear without warning and correspond to where Jesus was nailed on the Crucifix.

I believe, Stigmata is the plural form of Stigma. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/stigma

[Edit] Which could explain the blood on his face in Entry #14. But, I saw no evidence of his hands showing stigmata marks.

I think stigmata is specific to the wounds of Christ, whereas stigma isn't. So I think it's unlikely that we're talking stigmata here.

However, I found this interesting:

6. Archaic. a mark made by a branding iron on the skin of a criminal or slave.

Ah, I actually did that. Check the last post of page 5, those are the files I got.

Ooh. Well, isn't it the same clip, just one is reversed? I'm gunna try and play with the speed until I can say for sure what it's supposed to be.

EDIT: Slowing down the "I'm back" one just sounds too gibberishy, but the "Alex" one has a definite "S" sound at the end. Like Alex, or, I'm thinking, Alice. But it's not too clear. Lots of digital-y sounds.
