I think I'm scheduled for the 7pm screening, which is awkward. Unless the big "social event" is also the screening! On my way now, will report and tweet.

So, it turns out that both a) my phone ran low on battery during the day, and had to be put on airplane mode, and b) the signal is terrible in the building anyway.

Okay, so I got to County Hall (where the Movieum is) At about 6:15, hung around outside for a bit and watched quite a few people wearing Power to the Pixel lanyards showing up. Eventually, I make my way inside to where the screening is, and right opposite is the main area of the Movieum, with lots of people... turns out it's the PttP afterparty-of-sorts. Made my way in there, had a drink, wandered a bit showing my copy of TimeOut the entire time.

Of course, 7:00 came and I went to the screening... it's interesting, definitely at least one web address in there to grab (though I didn't catch it, will have to watch it online again) and maybe more clues.

After the screening I managed to bump into Steve Peters so we hung out for a bit, chatted to the guys from Truth About Marika, etc etc... when one of the waiters at the party suspiciously hands me a free drink token. Since I'm busy chatting away I figure I'll use the token later, then the guy comes up to me again and offers to grab the drink for me. When he returned, he pulled me to one side for a moment, and asked if I like having a good time. Of course I said yes, and he hands me a moo card for the event, telling me I can get in free before 9.

The card doesn't give us anything new, but it was cool to have suspicious waiter give it to me. Plus, free drink!

Colour me super-jealous, Agent Lex! I now can't make the event on Friday, either, which I was originally planning to go along to. Rubbish.

Oh yeah, further to my earlier post, the link for the Google group is http://groups.google.com/group/clamamus-pro-aeris - you can request an invitation I think. It's possible that more people got invites and skimmed over them because they didn't look that interesting... I know I almost did.

BTW, Lex (and I'm assuming you would have mentioned it if you had, but...) did you spot anyone who might be a character? Apart from Suspicious Waiter Man, of course. Smile

The sign says West Point Flats, and some numbers below that I can't see. But it might not be important. Google searches grab locations in Leeds and Sheffield, neither of which are East London.

The videos look short and nice. ~~Btw, have you had some problems with Facebook group? I couldn't find it, since the shortened link on the initial page was kinda... broken?~~ (Ok, now it works)

only just got the new e-mail. Wish I had known about these events long enought to arrange a trip to London, oh well maybe next time.

So has anyone any thoughts on the relevance of the Horace quote?

Also how many people are going to the event tomorrow?

Couple more screens I managed to get. First is a slightly clearer shot of "Red Adelaide" on the business card. Second is a pieced-together version of the report on Dawn Price, from 4 screenshots (the hand moves over the text, so I had to get a few shots to get everything I could).

Also of note, the sound file he plays on Daniel's computer is from UK Dance Radio and just mentions their website.

ETA: Calling the number on Andhi Siskirt's business card gives me... the Expanding Universe answerphone! haha
