It seems I'm a bit late with this, but I emailed Iris yesterday saying that I wanted to help her, and she replied with:

Seems to be part of The Charge of the Light Brigade. I know you guys have that all figured out already, but I just wanted to make sure everyone had record of everything that was sent from Iris. Yay!

I think I'll email IRIS, 'cause I still haven't done so, actually. I want my email to be registered for this. And to see what response I get.

It seems like maybe the way to get back in Craig's good graces is to try to show him something to convince him we aren't just hacking his email. What that is, though, I'm not sure.

I agree with you and we've probably been presented with some sort of solution, even if we can't see it (yet).

*edit* Wulf, I want to reinforce my suggestion that we send Craig the listing of songs that have played. In fact I believe you HAVE to.

IRIS is changing Craig's name to MyDarling.

IRIS is posting snippets of love talk between him and his dead wife, including her pet name Vita (for Valentina).

IRIS is personifying itself by claiming to be sick and expressing loneliness.

We have multiple Solaris' type references which refer to a dead wife and a scientist.

IRIS is somehow channeling Valentina.

I almost guarantee you that the songs being played are meaningful to Craig. Perhaps one was their wedding song, perhaps it's a playlist from the Honeymoon... who knows. I just feel that the first step to proving our credibility lies with the music.

I think we can convince him with some more iris- mails. He'll calm down in some days and he's too curious, so he'll communicate with us. Dont worry ... Smile

I did something similar to that with the childs picture we got. And I sent that to him shortly after my reply to him. But I think you guys are right on the money about the song list. My 'net access is limited to my iPod Touch for most of today, but if some can compile the playlist for me, I'll do my best to get it sent over ASAP. Damn I wish these forums had an RSS feed.
Lemme know.

I can email Craig, as well, if timing deems it necessary. Just need his email address.

Thanks for getting it put together so quick. I was able to get my laptop on for aminute - here's what I sent:
Quote:
Mr. Rogers,

I explained the correspondence between you and myself and what occurred. I am still unsure what, in my last email provoked you to such extremes - and I apologize for my reaction. Because that's what was, simply a reaction. One of my associates, suggested, that I send you some information that we have gotten during the course of our interaction with Iris. This motion was supported by a number of others in our group, suggesting it was imperative. That being said, here are a list of songs that have either been referenced, played, or simply had lyrics quoted for us during our interaction with Iris:

I Am I Said - Neil Diamond
Smoke Gets in Your Eyes - Not posted but The Platters made it a hit
Angel - Sara McLaughlin
My Personla Moon - Madison Park
I'm So Sick - Flyleaf
As Long as I Can See the Light - Creedence Clearwater

I'm not sure what relevance this has, but we work as a group for a reason - several heads are better than one. Especially cooler heads. One of my associates believes that this will have a lot of meaning to you.
Again, I apologize, and look forward to hearing back from you.

Wulf

I even apologized.. *crosses fingers*

Well technically speaking these songs are from the website. Is it the idea that IRis is running the site. There are actually only 2 mentioned by IRis or by email actually and they are 8 Days a week and I am I said (which I now see needs to be moved on my list).

True; however I am under the impression that the website is a manifestation of IRIS's intentions.

So should we direct CR to the website then?

I sent an email to IRIS a bit ago using some perl commands, this is what I got back...

I realized i buggered the code a bit, im rubbish with perl, so I fixed it up as best I could and sent it back again...i'm probably pursuing something fairly worthless, but im curious to see what a system/file check on IRIS would come up with.

these are my twisted words
fell off the roof still walking
i know i should not look down
but i'm so sick of just talking
when are you coming back
i just can't handle it
when are you coming back
i just can't handle it
you just can't handle it

I had not seen this song by Radiohead in the thread until now. I went to three or four sites and apperantly the person who input the music put in what he thought the second line was. Also "it could be" that it was sent to the pet name Sunshine.

These are My Twisted Words Lyrics

These are my twisted words
when i feel you still walking
i know i should not look down
but i'm so sick of just talking

when are you coming back
i just can't handle it
when are you coming back
i just can't handle it

when are you coming back
i just can't stand it
i just can't handle it
