new song and old picture

Alanis Morissette - Uninvited lyrics

Like anyone would be
I am flattered by your fascination with me
Like any hot blooded woman
I have simply wanted an object to crave
But you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight

Must be strangely exciting
To watch the stoic squirm
Must be somewhat heartening
To watch shepard meet shepard
But you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight

Like any uncharted territory
I must seem greatly intriguing
You speak of my love like
You have experienced like mine before
But this is not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight

I don't think you unworthy
I need a moment to deliberate

I know there are some wacky naming things happening in the emails however this would lead me to believe the 2 V's are different people.

I realized i buggered the code a bit, im rubbish with perl, so I fixed it up as best I could and sent it back again...i'm probably pursuing something fairly worthless, but im curious to see what a system/file check on IRIS would come up with.

SUNSHINE
these are my twisted words
fell off the roof still walking
i know i should not look down
but i'm so sick of just talking
when are you coming back
i just can't handle it
when are you coming back
i just can't handle it
you just can't handle it

I had not seen this song by Radiohead in the thread until now. I went to three or four sites and apperantly the person who input the music put in what he thought the second line was. Also "it could be" that it was sent to the pet name Sunshine.

These are My Twisted Words Lyrics

These are my twisted words
when i feel you still walking
i know i should not look down
but i'm so sick of just talking

when are you coming back
i just can't handle it
when are you coming back
i just can't handle it

when are you coming back
i just can't stand it
i just can't handle it

No, no, no, no, I put that in my original email to IRIS, the only thing she added was "you just cant handle it". Razz

It is possible... considering the Russian, I thought for a second it might be a diminutive form of the name, but the pet form for Valentina is Valya, not Vita. BUT it may still be just a nickname for her. Not too much of a stretch, if that's the case.

Yes I agree not much of a stretch to get to that as a pet name however I was talking about in the email Valentina wrote to Vita

Original mail was: Hello friendly computer, still working or broken? Wink

The song is: Seether - Broken

I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away
I keep your photograph, I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

'Cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

The worst is over now and we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away
There's so much left to learn, and no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

'Cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

Progress! I just received an email from CR:
Quote:
Wulf,

I appreciate this, accept your sincerity and believe that we should start at square one. With the understanding that we still have our confidentiality agreement I must ask you if you are familiar with the concept that certain types of fluid can store data much more effectively than hardware components?
*C

To be completely honest, I've only heard that this was a possibility - nothing more. I hope none of us has to be a Quantum Physicist to be able to converse with the good doctor..lol.

In my reply to him, I was considering letting him know about the Perl commands and almost FUBAR. I'd like to respond to him within the next few minutes - if anyone has anything they want to ask/say - lemme know and I'll get it included. The faster we can respond to him I think, the more quickly we can move it along, and the more replies we can get from him in a day.. Rather than just 1.

I think it might be a mistake, right now, to tell him about the shutdown. Only because it would be like "yeah thanks for trusting us again, we mean you no harm and o by the way we sort of shut down your computer yesterday".

On the other hand, I thought your last letter was a mistake so maybe I should sit back and enjoy the drive. Wink

I don't know. I asked everyone earlier if we should inform him of it.
2.) What means B.E. Intl ?
I doubt he would know, as it's the name of the company putting on the ARG - meaning it's not In-Game
3.) Which meaning have the music titels Iris send us?
Again, I don't think he would know. I've sent him all of the songs that we've encountered one way or the other, but he hasn't said anything. I would guess like Syn mentioned that they're important to him and his wife
4.) In which year he lives? (Just in case we missed something!)I'll ask him this, it's a good question. I'm pretty sure he's in the same time frame as us - because he refers to Iris being in the future, but it's always safe to ask Wink
