The letter in question can be found in the July 9-21 folder. It's the one with all the references to the poem "fit the eighth" by lewis carroll.

 Prototype Big Daddy
My Hypothesis

Very long time follower, first time poster (never had anything to add except for today)

Ok so I was going over all the old paperwork and made a strange discovery! In the bottom file cabinet drawer, the file marked JUNE 14-26. One of the papers Mark wrote that he saw a little girl in a pink dress playing and singing to her self.

Are you sleeping, are you sleeping
Brother john?
Morning bells are ringing, morning bells are ringing
Ding ding dong.

I know that is an old song but the second line (BROTHER JOHN?) got me thinking! What if Jack wasn't the only child of Andrew Ryan, But the second! Maybe a son named John that was past by and used as an experiment for the first Big Daddy. Any ideas?

New update. New phone message.

It's from Dash Carmady. Celeste is missing.

Also, Carmady is either being very detail oriented (doubtful) or he is over-playing his hand. He is asking for a list of all of Mark's contacts "to see if one of them may have sent the threats to Mark."

Snap.

I wish I had found this forum months ago. I'm hardheaded about things, so I never googled to find any answers to any puzzles... it took me an hour to screen shot my way through the darn light puzzle. Razz lol

I had never thought of the Brother John theory... but I like it! <3

At some point, I'll go through my notes and post some of my own theories... but I still have 30 or so pages left to read on here. I don't want to annoyingly repost stuff.

This "John" and Jack are the same, I think; Jack is the diminutive form of John (or it can be). Also supported by the original French version of the song: Frère Jacques. It may be only a reference to the first game; the paper is full of them ("Are you sleeping", the little sister, her big daddy, etc).

So does Mark think that Jeremiah Lynch is the pawn, Stango mentioned the Irish conman and Lynch is apparently born in Irish, has lots of alias' and puts that stupid Posh British accent on.

Carmady seems to have pinpointed Lynch... it does make sense, Lynch was the first one who contacted Mark, he's been dropping clues all the way...

But what's he after? Is he working for the Big Sister?

Yeah - the history of forgery seems to confirm that Lynch is the pawn, but I guess we will see!!

On a different note - has anyone done some analysis of the radio "static" recently? I muted it immediately for the last two weeks or so, and DEFINITELY noticed some new sounds/voices that had been added or changed. One sounds like Atlas talking to jack from Bioshock 1, while another sounds like the voice from the plasmid "ads" in the game. I'm sure its the same voice actors (that we keep recognizing!)........

Welcome to the new folks!!
