Alright, I've already got the Book of Chzo open here, and after a bit of researching, I discovered that Chzo calls the Tall Man, "The Prince."

So I searched the document for the Prince.

Umm, well:

Quote:

"Now you must repay me for the slight your arrogance caused me, for despite your insult I love you as I love every Man and beast, and you must learn to take this love into your heart."
And the King took the Body and Mind of the Arrogant Man and separated them from his Soul, and this he placed in a great Tree in the land of Technology, and with this action he announced,
"Now you are the Tree, and the Tree is you, and the wood is your Soul. With this gift of separation your body shall not wither or die throughout your lessons. But should any Man in the land of Technology interfere with the Tree that is your Soul on the day that is mine, I shall lend to you the power to confront them, and strike them down with fitting vengeance."
And then he touched the Arrogant Man and filled his heart with his warming love, and the Arrogant Man became the Prince, and he knew the name of the King.
And the Prince and the court of the King bowed down and wept and sang with great praise the name of the King, for great and generous was his wisdom.

Chapter 3

And so the Prince who had been the Arrogant Man began his servitude to the King, and the King taught him the nature of Life, and of the true Purification.
"For every Man and Beast and every form of Life, there are three Aspects. These three are the Body, the Mind and the Soul, and nothing shall be called Life if it lacks even one of these three.
"But through ill deeds and unpious living, the Aspects become tarnished, and with this tarnish my name shall never be known, and the trinity will be cast forever into the dark ocean between our lands.
"Only through Purification of the Aspects with Blessed Agony will a tarnished being again know my name.
"The Soul must always be Purified first. Only those who have suffered the greatest loss of what is nearest to their hearts will know the Blessed Agony of the Soul.
"The Body comes second. Only those who have their flesh teased and torn with blade and fire will know the Blessed Agony of the Body.
"The Mind will always receive its Purification last. The Mind is unique in that, while the Body and Soul have only one Blessed Agony, the Mind has three, which must all be experienced to fully Purify the Mind. These three are Tedium, Fear, and Madness.
"Only when the the three Aspects are ritually Purified with each of the Blessed Agonies will any Life truly be beloved in my sight."

Firstly, I'd like to bring our attention to the Tree.

O_O

Secondly, the "Purification" sounds a lot like torture in three different forms; Breaking your spirit or will, carving your body, and driving you mad. Water boarding for the first one, whipping for the second, and solitary confinement for the third. That's just an example, really. But I mean, wow. This really does kind of mimic Slender Man in a biblical sense.

I'm going to attach the Book of Chzo for you guys to read yourself. It's kind of frightening. Chapter 3 is where the Arrogant Man becomes the Prince.

Got a reply from J when I asked him where Brian was the day Alex and him went location scouting.

Quote:
Brian was not there when Alex and I were location scouting. It was only me and him.

Has anyone entertained the idea of SM being tied to the house? Or is that out the window?

Well, we now know that SM really likes water, and when water is mentioned, there's audio distortion/visual tear. He also seems to love those woods, so I don't think he's tied to the house, since we haven't gotten any evidence yet.

[edit: and in the series, i believe the three blessed aggonies took place as having all[or lots] of bones broken fallign down an elevator shaft, having to kill their new lover, and being locked in a box and having a demons mind tearing their own apart ¬_¬]

Alright, I'm just gonna stop beating around the bush. This HAS to be related to the Trilby series of games. Think about it. A very tall man who pops up everywhere and the horrific mental effects this man has on people. There's been speculation that the building in Entry 16 is a torture site; the Tall Man from Trilby's Notes has only one purpose. To inflict pain onto people, either physical, mental or emotional. And a VERY long shot, but J breaking into a dark, creepy house is similar to Trilby breaking into a manor in 5 Days a Stranger.

I think it's just that Yahtzee and the creator of Slender Man drew inspiration from the same source. Remember that the Tall Man from Trilby's Notes could only appear on July 28th and only near wood from a specific tree. Plus if they were related then Alex, Brian and J would be dead already.

At first I thought the house looked like the one in Program, but I don't think that's the case anymore, because the one in Program had two pillars and more white on it than "Brian's" house.

It's too bad that door on the second floor was locked; I feel like there might have been someone or something substantial just behind that door. Maybe J will go back in the daytime next week. Or maybe totheark will give us a tour of what we missed in the house during the day? That'd certainly make him look like Brian or Alex.

Also, 2:45; more blood, or just random stains on the carpet?

EDIT: Also also, I believe one of the drawings J took said "FORGET WHAT I SEE", instead of "FORGET WHAT YOU SEE". I too, think that these were made by Brian as the writing looks different. The other one says something "AWAY" as far as I can tell. Probably "RUN AWAY". Another one says "TREE" at the top but is covered.

Lol, yeah, the Book of Chzo comes in a word document when you download the special edition 4-pack. Each game has an interesting extra with it.

Definitely says "FORGET WHAT I SEE". [Large Image].

They're also different drawings at least than the ones Alex was making earlier. These look like they're in marker [image] while Alex's looked like they were in pencil [image]. They're also on different paper. (Alex's looked like they were on sketchbook paper, while the Entry #16 ones look like they're on printer paper.)

Alex's Es are different than the ones on the new drawings. The person who made the new drawings also sometimes uses lowercase ts and sometimes uppercase ones. Alex only used uppercase Ts in his drawings. The two have really similar looking Ss, though.

The picture J found at the top of the stairs in Entry #16 looks like it says "RUN AWAY" and has a large black scribble underneath it. Alex has one like it on his wall in Entry #11. [image]

You don't make maniacal drawings and paste them on the walls. You don't sleep in the closest under the stairs.

Think about this [don't take it as fact, just picture it]: ToTheArk is Brian. Brian leaves incredible clues and mysteries all at once via YouTube.

He sees Tim in an interview. Tim gives up the fact that Brian lives close by. J wants to find Brian.

Brian doesn't want to be found, so he quickly abandons his "home," but not before coughing up a lot of blood himself. He tears the place apart, trying to obtain whatever he may have had hidden around, grabs his computer and equipment [maybe surveillance equipment? Cameras, wires, evidence of him being totheark] and skedaddles.

Hmm? HMM?

I'm confused here. What do you mean, "Too realistic for my own tastes" ? Was that sarcasm? 'Cause the rest of your post is pointing out how unrealistic it seems, yet I didn't get a sense of sarcasm from your initial statement.

Anyway, I'd suspect that MH wasn't an ARG, except for TTA. The MH videos themselves seem fairly straightforward, but TTA also seems quite involved in the whole matter, and seems to uphold the general idea of inserting a puzzle in here.

Maybe the creators of this thing saw people speculating about how this was likely to be an ARG and decided to switch things around somewhere down the line to appease us. The TTA videos certainly didn't start with the earlier Entries.
