I really like the telephone number idea. It ALMOST perfectly fits, because if you flip through it and pay attention only to the corner, you get the following:

However, that number is not in service. So I'll hit up the other area codes that end in 18 just in case. 618 gives nothing.

Isn't the prevailing assumption that Logan was the one to do the alterations to the notebook? Would this not suggest that Josh had some hand in the alterations as well?

Josh insists that he never even opened the notebook. It is possible that Logan, being Josh's best friend, knew Josh's phone number. Why he put it in the notebook, however, is still uncertain.

Yggdrasil: The home of Slender Man? It's a great mythical tree of ash, and the phrasing implies that it grows, and the giant (Slender Man) slips free [from it from time to time].

Extension of above speculation: Slender Man as an extraplanar being? Does he intrude on our world?

Unanswered Question: Why the Wing?

Logan knows Matt's life because he dreamed it all. Matt became a part of Logan through the notebook?

There is a second missing page. Everything around it is blank except for a tiny red word in the upper left corner of the opposite of the torn page: Paydirt. Could this be the page with the answers on it? Logan OBVIOUSLY would have that. This missing page was bookmarked—hence my finding it.
