[PHONE] Anyone else get a call from PuzzleCards?

So, my phone rang... unknown ID. I get that enough. Ah well, I answer it.

Click, click. Damn computerized messages. I come this close to hanging up. Then I hear that I've been delivered a puzzle from puzzlecards.net. Yeah, that puzzlecards.net

After overcoming the shock, I caught the last part of the little rhyme. The puzzle thread is right here

Anyone else get a phone call?

EDIT: For extra creepiness... I just realized I didn't ever give either the UH main site or the puzzlecards website my email address. They must have caller-ID'd it from a call to Ron's VMail.

I also received the phone call. Unfortunately, I had my stereo blasting away, and by the time I realized what it was, I only managed to catch something like "circle the words and they'll be found".

I was also a little creeped out by the call. I left my number on Ron's voicemail and also at Urban Hunt where I applied as an online advisor. I'm hoping it was Ron that called. Shocked

I caught the message on my voice mail while I was out to dinner.
Here's it is:
Quote:

Hello, this is an automated call from puzzlecards.net. Someone has sent you a puzzlecard. To receive it, solve this simple riddle:

The puzzle without just one prize.
Can you see what's before your eyes?
Backwards, forwards, up and down,
you circle them when they are found.

Good luck.

I too got it. It was in my voicemail, and only played from : "before your eyes." I was a little freaked out when I checked my voicemail.

Got the same (I think) as Nog at about 830PM Eastern (US). Wasn't here to receive it, but the confused person I live with did.

(edited to add:) It occurs to me that the phone number this came to has never been listed ingame...But I did call Ron's VM from it.

Bit freaky being a lurker and getting the call. Glad my girlfriend wasn't home to pick up the call because she'd have really been scared by it.

A couple weeks ago when I first started following UH, I called the number and was so shocked to get a real person on the other line I stuttered for a second and just hung up.

Since the call was generated by someone connected with Puzzlecards.net, the current spec is either the phone numbers were accessed from a list if you registered with Puzzlecards (and gave them a phone number) or if you called Ron's phone number (from caller id or left your phone number in his voicemail).
