ok im working on the city one. i figure his last comment meant for us to go with the capitols of the countries.

we already have the 5 countries and these are the capitols.

Mongolia - Ulaanbaatar

japan - Tokyo

Iran - Tehran

Italy - Rome

Sweden - Stockholm

now I dont think U T T R S spells anything, so maybe its an anagram of all the names?

Currently trying to find the video on another site because I'm bad with numbers.

FWIW, I think the "I am on a cruel beauty" may still be an anagram -- "YouTube" can be found in it, and I wonder if that's part of the answer.

Numbers

So now I'm 90% sure that 1 is the number for the Moonies article. I was so focused on seeing a numeral, I didn't realize that the word "one" is right in the title.

That means that the numbers are

20,9,5,8,14,10,6,21,and 1

or

tiehnjfua

The only one I'm not sure of is the moon wiki.

Do you guys think it's 5 or 16? (the number in the first sentence, or the number of chapters in the article. I think it's 5.

I found it searching for moonlight added in the past month.

So one of my esteemed colleagues had a thought I think is genius. We were going over the numbers puzzle, and I mentioned that the "obvious" numbers - 8, 14, 5, 9, 20 - spell HNEIT, which anagrams to "THINE." He pointed out that it could be "IN THE" -- which looks like one but is actually two! It may be nothing, but it makes perfect sense.

I actually thought of that too. Then perhaps the final message will be:

Trust in the moonlight?

i'm hoping when this is all over that its obvious what we are supposed to do with the answers lol. that could be a puzzle in and of it's self.

could "trust in the moonlight" be the name of the video? or the user name that its under?

I think that when we solve all the clues the answer should be pretty obvious. Must likely it'll be a website url. We still need to solve the "I am on a cruel beauty" anyway.

Also, I still think that the other website numbers are valid. It can't just be a coincidence that they all have numbers except "blue moon" and "Jerry." THINE are the most obvious numbers, but the rest have numbers too. If you do them all its

I think Jerry's comment can easily be an exception to the numbers because it is the source of a separate puzzle. Not sure why the "blue moon" would be an exception.

On the "moonlight" issue, if we accept that "THINE" is really "IN THE" then there is only one answer to the video. Therefore it cannot be that the words ("I am on a gruel ditty") lead to one answer while the music in the background leads to another.

I think we should put the moonlight on the back burner for the moment and focus on the words ("I am in a groove, daddy").

The Blue Moon link is an exception because it's the link to the Messed Up video by Lindsay Bleu, which is the source of a separate puzzle.

Yeah, I wonder if some people already figured it out and in the latest message it says not to tell anyone the solution. Probably not, but it's always possible.
