[Clueless]

There are two bright white flashes during that sequence. The green things that appear twice are probably just reflection on the floor. I took some screen caps and inverted them, and the camera does not appear to be at the appropriate angle to capture TTA behind him. (frustrating, because I thought for sure that that was going to be the case)

Image of second white flash is attached. Happens at ~4:31. First happens at around ~4:27. Again. I'm just pausing youtube and screen capping, so others might be able to do better. Don't know if they mean anything but noticed when trying to take pics of greenish stuff and saw msheadwound noticed them as well.

Has anyone else noticed that when J first looks at the staircase, there seems to be something on the right, and when he looks at it again and actually decides to go up, it's gone? Could either be something important, or a different staircase.

EDIT: I looked very carefully, and got startled by what appeared to be a man in a business suit. It was a file cabinet. However, after he turns away from the door, he moves over to the traschan-area, and it does look like there are two staricases.

Looks like the box/cabinet on the left is the same, but it's hard to tell. If it is the same staircase, the disappearing black box on the right might just be because the camera's at a different angle.

boxe's cant move but they can be moved. Alex and brian may have been hiding and since they heard J they may have thought he was either under slendermans control or trying to do something else. but I think the cabinet might have been moved by alex after immediatley locking himself in the room.


Just a theory of mine but they could still be there, it'd be best if J went back during the day to make sure. And on that note he heard that loud bang after he saw the word BONE written by the air conditioning syster (or whatever it was) and didnt seem phased by it....weird?

Something else of note. The visual tear in 16 occurs while he is searching the closet with the mattress, at ~3:50. Of course, we know now that TTA is in the room or entered the room, because about a half a minute later he is standing behind J filming him for Addition.

About the white flashes... could they maybe be the view-y part of a digital video camera? Those give off some light.

I've been mostly lurking because, to be honest, I am absolute crap at figuring out any of this type of stuff on my own. I did, however, download the video and squint a bit at the time J was on the floor.

I then opened up the sequence in a gif program that lets me separate avi files into individual frames, grabbed the sequence that had the relevant flashes (about 200 frames), and did a "save frame as" action that gave me 200 pngs. (Oh, and I flipped it upside down so the floor is on the bottom.)

I zipped them up and uploaded them here.

I can't undo what youtube did to compress the file, but the only thing I really did that might have altered quality was converting the mp4 file to an avi. Hopefully, this will help someone find the best frame to get some clues out of--there is one obvious lens flare, but it looks like there are two different bits sort of glowing in the background besides that.
